18.01.2022 Time! Don't waste it. How often do you hear people say, I just don’t know where the time goes or If only I had more time? No one can add more time to their lives. Whether we work in a mine in Western Australia, on a farm in Tasmania, or in a stockbroker’s office in Sydney, we all have the same 86,400 seconds in a day. The term time management is actually a misnomer because the challenge is not to manage time but to manage ourselves. The way we spend our time is an indication of the way that we manage our lives and what is important to us. Come and do some training in Time Management and start working and living smarter not harder.

15.01.2022 As a professional development trainer and coach, I want to be of service to all levels of business. In the past, I have spoken with many middle management course attendees who have benefited from the training. The feedback from talented middle management is that their managers, you! would also benefit from training, as you too are on the road of continuous improvement. Here is my question to you, What subjects would you like to see included in a short course specifically for high executive leaders?. Contact me by phone or email, it would be very much appreciated.

07.01.2022 You must delegate! Effective delegation is one of the most valuable skills you can master. It reduces your workload and develops employee skills. Delegating prepares employees who work for you to be able to handle more responsibilities and simultaneously grows the knowledge within organisations. You have a duty to develop your staff and free up time so you can concentrate on your core duties.

06.01.2022 Workplace bullying refers to any repeated, intentional behavior directed at an employee that is intended to degrade, humiliate, embarrass, or otherwise undermin...e their performance. It can come from colleagues, supervisors, or management, and is a real problem for workers at all levels. It's no joke. By learning to recognise and address workplace bullying behaviour, you can help to create a healthier, more productive environment for yourself and your colleagues. http://www.patstanleytraining.com.au/workplace-harassment-/ See more

05.01.2022 Working with people who display poor and challenging behaviour can be frightening and stressful. Doing nothing is an option, but what message are you sending when you are on the receiving end? You are telling the person that it is OK to continue. Dealing with difficult people in a manner that promotes respectful relationships is a skill that can be learnt, its self-development for you and others around you. Most workplaces have rules and regulations and code of conduct that clearly state that treating people with respect must be followed, however, they do not tell you how to manage difficult people or their behaviour. On 14 February, I am holding a course called Dealing with difficult People. I will be covering how you manage yourself when dealing with difficult People and behaviour.

04.01.2022 There are givers and takers in this world. We meet them every day, they infiltrate our lives. Think about the old friend that only contacts you when they need something, taking and depleting and rarely giving back. They make promises of giving but never do. This taking can manifest itself in many ways such as offloading of worries, using your time, which you can never get back. Supporting them in their hour of need and never being there for you in yours. They give you no re...cognition of the support you have given them, they just expect you to do as they want when they want. Some of these people will be kinder to strangers than they are with you. Sooner or later the takers will empty the relationship bank account, no more withdrawals as the account is empty, the relationship dies. In healthy relationships it is a constant series of giving and taking, it is reciprocal. In workplaces, it is healthy to ask for assistance and healthy to return the request wherever you can. Mindfulness and respect will strengthen workplace relationships build trust and last through times of change and growth. In marriage and personal relationships, the art of giving and taking should be a top priority. Relationships of every calibre take give and take to survive. Pat Stanley
