Bella and Grace provides ‘boutique’ fashion shopping for all ages at a reasonable price point. True to their love of 'local', Melanie and Christine are delighted to know many of their customers on a first name basis and aim to give everyone a great e...xperience at every visit. Glen Eira City Council is seeking feedback from the community to determine if there is enough support and demand to host a Men's Shed within Glen Eira. Men’s Sheds are an updated, communal version of the quintessential Australian backyard shed. They are creative, productive spaces for men to gather, meet others and work on different projects. There are more than 350 Men's Sheds in communities across Victoria, including within our ne...ighbouring councils. However, none are located in the City of Glen Eira. 09.01.2022 Sadly, a dedicated and well-loved community member Roger Gheller has passed away. Roger was the tailor on Patterson Road for over 35 years and was well known and respected in the Bentleigh and surrounding community. All are welcome to attend the funeral service - details in photos. Thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.

07.01.2022 A big farewell to Rogers garment repairs who have closed down business in Patterson Village after many many years of serving the community. We will be sad to see you go but all old and new customers are welcome to visit the Bentleigh shop at 165 Jasper Road (parking at Bentleigh library or Woolworths) to pick up their clothes or for any alteration and repair needs. The Patterson Village shop is up for lease, anyone interested can contact Pauline 0425853722.

06.01.2022 Today the Halley Park Scout Hall is coming down. Council allocated funds to demolish this building after it was deemed to have reached the end of its useful life both internally and externally. The area will be returned to public open space in accordance with the Public Open Space Strategy.
