20.01.2022 Another DNA Connection Family Line entered. Checkout the latest update.
17.01.2022 UPDATE 2. For everyone connected to our Doolan family I have just ADDED the Ahearn-Doolan Family History which includes NEW information about our Matriarch, Mary Amelia Veronica Doolan and our NEW link to the Ahearn Family through Patrick William Ahearn, the father of Patrick Joseph Doolan (my g grandfather). A 100 year old secret that perhaps wasn't as much of a secret at I thought, although having been "warned off" numerous times from investigating our Doolan family history... further when I was younger. Thanks to some recent hints from our "NEW" Ahearn cousins and my recent DNA testing the truth has finally come to light (although apparently suspected for many years). A young girl who was missing from our Family History for almost 100 years, had a child at 15 years of age to Patrick William Ahearn as an unmarried mother, died at 21 years of age and who now has here rightful place in our Family History. Rest In Peace Mary Amelia Investigations continue to find the reasons for her death.

13.01.2022 On the 1st November 1944 the most important woman in my life was born. On the 3 May 2012 we lost her. I don’t post much about Mum and Dad, it hurts too much. Happy Birthday Mum, today would have been your 76th Birthday. Thank you for being my Mum
12.01.2022 Whilst tracking down the connection of my strongest DNA link in the USA to date I just happened to unearth a connection to Tristram Patton, Aide-de-Camp to George Washington, First President to the United States of America. 09.01.2022 Well I've just tracked down the descendants of the sister of my 5x Great Grandfather William Patton (married Annie Sinclair). I had a DNA link to a Warnock. William's sister Jean married William Warnock. Guess where I found them? Yep, you got it. The U.S.A.... No wonder I can't find any relatives in Scotland, they all went to the U.S.A. and Williams grandson, William, arrived here by default (that happens when you get hit on the head and dragged aboard a whaling ship). Anyway......... Jean's descendants have a town named after them and everything.
