23.01.2022 This is a job we just finished today. Big thanks to Robert Hesketh from RJH Plumbing. Great work mate thanks

19.01.2022 It’s been a big week for us! We now have a new Carpenter working with us making our response time quicker, which adds to the quality and workmanship that our customers have come to expect. Here is a small example of one of the jobs we are working on at the moment. We are doing up a town house in Cooks Hill.... Imagine the pain of having rented out a beautiful old style terrace house, only to have it treated badly by tenants, which is the case here. What we’re doing is gently restoring the premises for the distraught owner so it can go back up for rent.

18.01.2022 For our latest project, we were approached by a lady who wanted to remove her outdated archways. She chose some aged hardwood from a scrap timber yard to place above the doorways. The timber came up a gorgeous colour when we rough sanded it back. We’re looking forward to the finished result, but so far the owner is loving it.

18.01.2022 A warning that snake season is coming closer with the warmer weather. We had a nice find in an eave this week.

14.01.2022 Good Morning Everyone Just a quick note to inform you all that Paul Bendeich Carpentry is open for business as usual. If you are concerned, please don’t hesitate to let us know if you feel more comfortable with us wearing a mask while at your office or your home. My employees and I will happy do this if it is requested. Most of our suppliers still have the products we use in stock so it’s still business as usual for the time being.... Of course, we will be monitoring updates on the health situation, and following suggested procedures.

12.01.2022 Before and after. Let’s welcome the newest member of Paul Bendeich Carpentry

11.01.2022 Many small businesses have had to make changes to the way they operate during COVID so they can continue to operate, and meet the new social distancing guidelines. HuBro cafe on Darby street have done just that. Here are some before and after photos of the new servery window we installed so people can still get their pick-me-up by walking up to the window. The photos shown are before and after, including construction of the benchtop made from Tasmanian Oak.

07.01.2022 One of our smaller jobs included a call from a lady who was having dogs and random people helping themselves to her yard. For her safety and security we installed a gate, and did some drainage around the property to make it safer for her to walk around when the ground is wet.

07.01.2022 Tonight I have been working on protecting my loved ones, myself and the people I do business with.

07.01.2022 The other week we posted some old hardwood beams and some old fashioned arch ways The beams are in walls are set. Now the walls just need painting. It has really opened up the rooms and it let’s a lot of extra light in. Another happy customer

05.01.2022 We got a call from a client who was needing some overdue work done on some rotted out beams and rafters. We replaced the rotten timber with treated pine (which had been primed and painted) so the client will never have to worry about this part again. Here are some before and after shots of the recently completed Charlestown job.

05.01.2022 Here are a few more before photos of our Cooks Hill town house.

05.01.2022 We were recently faced with a small dilemma. A customer needed a finial repair. One couldn’t be ordered in any time soon, so we had to improvise. I made one. I started up my lathe using a 90x90 piece of H3 treated pine, and spun these two little beauties up so the client could choose which one they wanted. P.s it was fun!
