23.01.2022 Today is National Police Remembrance Day. Thank you for your service to all those that are serving today and a special thank you to all those families that have lost loved ones while serving this community. It’s a day to pause and remember the sacrifices of so many Officers and their families. So if you see a serving Officer out and about today, why not say thanks in person. They risk their lives to keep us safe.

23.01.2022 This is exactly why we need Ultra-Fast Dark Fibre internet access for Capalaba businesses. Even the NBN are now accepting they need to upgrade their service but that will take years (and $billions!). We can do it here in Capalaba far more quickly, for far less $ and give our businesses the edge they deserve to grow the local jobs our community needs. Only an INDEPENDENT will deliver this. 19.01.2022 Today is R U OK DAY? Now more than ever during these tough times we need to be asking the question, not just today but every day.

19.01.2022 With many challenges facing us all currently, I have been asked by members of the local community to stand as an Independent for Capalaba in the upcoming Qld State Election. With respect for many Australian political parties at an all-time low, a fresh approach is needed. One focused on respecting all voters and achieving for Capalaba the investment it needs. I am not a ‘career politician’, but as a father, a husband and a member of the small business community I appreciate e...xactly what is required and have the experience to help make it happen. And with a close election expected, an INDEPENDENT voice in Parliament will allow us to move away from the constant social media blame game and ensure that locally we get the funding we need to improve roads, the hospital, the ‘misery’ rail line and at last deliver the long promised ‘Eastern Busway’. A lot of money will be spent in the post-covid months and we need to ensure that locally we get our fair share to improve infrastructure and create jobs. So, if you live in Alex Hills, Birkdale, Capalaba, Thorneside or the Wello part of the electorate, I would love to get your support - and of course your vote come October! In particular we are looking for as many sign sites as possible throughout the area so please contact me if you would be happy for us to put a small election sign at the front of your property, or even on your trailer. 18.01.2022 Great to see both main parties announcing election spending promises for Redland Hospital in the last 24 hours. As I have been saying, its much needed and well over due! Now all we need to do is elect an Independent to make sure whichever party wins actually DELIVERS what they have promised! Lets no longer accept empty election promises. Its time for action. 11.01.2022 I have to agree with ToondahFriends about the lack of transparency around how Toondah came to be 'supersized' from 1000 units to 3600 units?? Perhaps our current Labor MP could explain how that came to be AFTER he was elected? For instance, a simple question - What additional benefits are we getting for the additional 2600 units? 10.01.2022 With crushing economic data out yesterday suggesting we are heading to 10% unemployment, and both major parties pledging to spend huge sums on infrastructure in the coming years, now is the time to elect an INDEPENDENT committed to ensuring some of that money is spent here locally. 06.01.2022 No new cases again overnight in QLD. The Chief Health Officer has determined it’s safe to ease restrictions in South East Queensland from tomorrow. Gatherings of up to 30 people will be allowed in people’s homes and outdoors, and more visitors will be allowed into hospitals and aged care homes.
