25.01.2022 In the stylish surrounds of the Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club last evening (26.1.2020) I was privileged to officiate as Marriage Celebrant for Mark Kennedy and Jan Withers in front of a sizeable gathering of sophisticated friends and family ... and the drinks flowed freely !! What a great way to celebrate Australia Day, now thats a wedding anniversary that will never be forgotten ! Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Kennedy !!!
25.01.2022 Such a delight on a rainy windswept Saturday morning (29/9) to officiate as Marriage Celebrant for Garry Sarre and Jo Rollinson overlooking the Swan River at Bishop Rd Reserve, Dalkeith as they came together as marriage partners...a light wind remained constant but mercifully the rain dissipated for the duration. Turned out a lovely occasion on a lovely day, and as always my privilege to act as cupid's servant!

22.01.2022 Lots of love in the air and a perfectly romantic night this weekend (29th) when family and friends gathered for ostensibly a birthday celebration (for David) which surprised almost everyone when he went down on knee to also propose (after 20 years) to Julie, but then an even bigger surprise when (pre-planned, of course) a celebrant (me) just happened to be present to immediately perform the surprise marriage of David Bahemia and Julie Green, just 'sweep away' wonderful. Congrats David & Julie, Mr. & Mrs. Bahamia .. just a wonderful night and experience to be your 'surprise celebrant' ....

18.01.2022 A little bit windy today (4th Nov. 2017) but otherwise a gorgeous sunny day for a lovely wedding on Iluka Beach (Iluka) of Chris Barton and Rachael Madge with 2yo Asha in front of family and friends flying in from all over Oz, and local friends celebrating their special day.....'we' nearly forgot the rings (!) and the beach presented its challenges but nothing that could spoil a wonderful occasion, lots of fun. 17.01.2022 Here's a tale with a twist, celebrated the wedding today of local rock legend Frank Sabatino and his lovely partner in business and life Josie Rees in the elegant surrounds of Gershwin's at Hyatt Regency Hotel in Perth, a lovely couple and lovely occasion. Here's the twist, witnesses were BFFs (newlyweds of one week) Barry and Dianne Clohessy (!) now they're all planning to sail off on a rock'n'roll cruise (but I can't disclose those private details), well done and smooth sailing to both lovely couples .... thanks for the pleasure !!

16.01.2022 Beautiful Hyde Park in Highgate was as busy today (24.2) as a Christmas sale at Myers, with weddings, birthdays, and picnics all over the park, as I officiated the wedding of Behlul Pehlivan and Jessica Milankov in front of family and friends with the water and gardens providing a perfect backdrop to the ceremony. Two very delightful people who now make Sydney their home will spend time with family in Perth before they return to busy lives in the harbour city next week. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Pehlivan, and happy marriage....

08.01.2022 Very nice to be asked, and consider it another privilege, to be invited to celebrate a renewal of marriage vows of George and Trish Tamms live on air on Tim Gossage's 6IX Valentines Day Breakfast show on 14th February. Big surprise for Trish was a $5,000 diamond ring from Greenwood Jewellers, and a second honeymoon thirty-three years on at Rendevous Resort Hotel in Scarborough, wonderful prize. I hope they (6IX) do it again next year, I'm certainly up for it, great fun.....thanks for the opportunity.

03.01.2022 Why did I become a Celebrant in the first place 23 years ago ? It was to do something special for people, and at the same time play a little bit of Cupid in people's lives, a conduit if you will....this weekend (25th March) for a good example I have travelled to Pemberton in our magnificent south-west to perform 'that' special ceremony for Leigh and Lauren Jones (nee Folkard) and what a thrill it was, the whole day ! Leigh and Lauren chose their favourite hideaway of 'Stonebarn' in the superb forest surrounds of our great State, how lovely for their guests from all over the world to not only witness their marriage, but also to see our beautiful forest of trees. A wonderful and unique experience, congratulations Mr & Mrs Jones, have a long and happy marriage....
