21.01.2022 I'm putting together a course on how to hire virtual assistants (VA's) for your business. ... The main reason you would hire a VA is that they will give you back a lot of time doing tasks that you probably don't need to be doing. So you can spend your time fishing, or uploading photos of your dogs to facebook. etc (... or am I the only one who does that?). For those that are not familiar with what a VA is, a VA is basically a virtual assistant (typically overseas, in countr...ies like the Philipines), that can complete tasks in your business like organising your email, adding contacts on linkedin, basic administration tasks, graphic design, lead generation, data entry, etc. --------- Here's the course structure so far, and what I'm thinking off including in the course: 1.) What is a VA and what can they do for your business. 2.) Where I hire top VA's from. 3.) How to write the job add to recruit them. 4.) The pitfalls of hiring a VA. (cultural sensitivities, etc). 5.) Best practice on pricing & salaries (how much to pay them). 6.) How to train your VA's and how to develop SOPs. 7.) How to effectively delegate roles and responsibilities. 8.) Introduction to the systems we use to manage our team. 9.) Introduction on how to communicate effectively with your team and have them communicate with you and the rest of your team. 10.) How to effectively nurture them, so they become leaders. 11.) How to run a profitable team (with VA's in it). I will also be including 1 x 45 minute weekly Q/A's via Zoom for the first two months (these sessions will be recorded and uploaded in the member's area). ------------ What am I missing that you would like my help on?

14.01.2022 There will times in your business journey where you are in some of the darkest tunnels of life. The first rule of being in a dark tunnel is to stay focused on the end of the tunnel. If you focus on the darkness surrounding you, you will end up losing your mind. Everyone goes through dark tunnels, some of them much darker than others. It's how you handle those dark times that matter. I've been in some dark tunnels in my life. Some of the darkest tunnels you can ever imagine. W...hen that happens, instead of focusing on the situation I am in, I focus on solving the problem I am facing. No more fear, no more insecurities, just facing the shit that happens. When I spent a month in a recovery centre for depression and burn out back in 2014, I spent all day long growing stronger, and working on a plan to get myself heading back towards 'the light'. Most of you call yourselves "problem solvers", but you hide, run and complain at any problems that come your direction. A true problem solver spends almost no time on the problem. They spend all their time on finding a solution. Your problems are the tunnel, your solutions are the light. Focus on the light and you'll leave everyone else in the darkness. If you want to get out of the dark tunnel, stop staring into the darkness and find the light at the end of the tunnel and move towards it.
