15.01.2022 To give you another way of looking at it.... The back of each card has a layout of the fingerboard with every position suggested by the chords inside. The ligh...ter shaded fingernails represent the chord on the cover (in this case Gmajor). The darker ones are for the chord options shown inside. (The open strings are shaded in the same manner). The name of each note is coloured "YELLOW". The name of the chord that it helps to make is "RED" (basic chord) & "BLUE" (altered chords)

12.01.2022 Front cover of each card displays the (most commonly) preferred chord shape for the featured key. The numbers at fingertips represent the string numbers. 1=e (t...reble) 2=b 3=g 4=d 5=a 6=e (bass) O=open The Gmajor card cover is interesting due to my choice of fingers to hold this chord. (Though the shape remains the same) The earliest approach to the G chord uses the three fingers closest to the thumb. This leaves the little finger as a "spare". We can take advantage of this to introduce extra notes, (but not many). My choice leaves the 1st () finger free which gives the option of dropping in a whole bunch of notes which are solidly within the range of the G chord. We can use this to alter the chord and/or introduce some melody during the duration of the chord. Both choices are great! Whatever your pleasure....

07.01.2022 The folded cards are A6 size (105148mm) Opened, they show six rows of altered chords all derived from the chord shape on the cover. One row for each string sh...owing the choices of notes & finger positions. for example: The first chord below, "G6" is made by lifting the finger off the 3rd fret of the "e" (1st string). Leaving this string open introduces the E note into the G chord. Because E note is the 6th note of the G scale, we call it "G6" (By the way, the strings marked "" aren't actually dangerous. They just may not sound good)
