24.01.2022 Thank you everyone who came by and checked out my work at Makers Nest design showcase over the weekend. It was a wonderful two days and we had a great time meeting so many interesting makers and customers. All purchasers of my work got an entry into a draw to win a huge 50x76cm of any of my photos - and I’m excited to announce the winner was Lyn from Hobart, who has very wisely chosen my Little Louisa Islet photo as the her print of choice. Congratulations Lyn! Also a heart...felt thank you to my husband Justin, and mum Kath, for all their help and support to create and run our home-built ‘gallery’ with me (and mean we could run my usual Salamanca Market stall at the same time!). Justin is the master of stall set ups, so special thanks to him for bringing that gallery vision to life. See you back at Salamanca this Saturday, and the next Makers Nest event in May 2020!

19.01.2022 Let's face it, 2020 has been a little...disappointing. So let’s look to the future - 2021, to be exact! Start marking down things to look forward to now; birthdays, events (remember those!), special occasions and trips away (what are these??) on my handy 2021 calendar of stunning Tasmanian images. My calendars of Tassie photography are highly anticipated each year, so this year I've got them out early so you don’t miss out. Missing out is so 2020.... Featuring photographs from all corners of the state, from Stanley to Hobart, to Bay of Fires to the South West wilderness - it’s all here in glorious colour. My 2021 calendar is A4 size folded (hangs A3), and the day boxes are big enough to cram in anything you can think of. If you've had one of my calendars in the past, you'll know they're printed on nice thick paper, too.

12.01.2022 Along with my family, I recently hiked Tasmania's acclaimed Three Capes Track. The 48km, 4 day walk takes in spectacular coastal scenery. The standout highlight is easily day 3, where you tackle Cape Pillar with views across to Tasman Island.

It's been a pleasure and privilege to continue my role as a judge, and I have to say it has been wonderful to see our operators continuing to innovate and curate rich and engaging stories and exceptional experiences for our visitors Along with Discover Tasmania's freshly launched and so positively received 'Come down for air' brand platform, it's a heartening reminder that our little state ...is still punching far above it's weight. Winners will be announced at tonight's gala event, then they'll go on to represent us at the QANTAS Australian Tourism Awards in Canberra in March.
