14.01.2022 Happy 45th Birthday - Ipswich Civic Hall, as named 45 years ago. I classified the Ipswich Civic Hall an Ipswich ICON in my book "ICONS of Ipswich" in 2007. I have construction photos which I am hoping to share soon, I took them with a Yashica twin lens reflex camera that used 120 roll film.

10.01.2022 Brian Gillece was an Ipswich legend in many ways - Gillece's Seafood features in my book "ICONS of Ipswich"...their seafood and takeaway food was the best going around. The artworks in the photo were hand painted by d'Arcy Doyle, the small food art where up around the display awnings and the big mural was on the eastern or right wall as you walked in. Gillece's Seafood was at 59 Limestone St where Lime5Nine was...

01.01.2022 The Opening of Ipswich City Square in 1987, you can see the Luncheonette sign under the Coles awning on the left, and the McDonnell & East sign on the awning, right side. The Mall was all a buzz in those days.....no sails yet !!
