25.01.2022 Cottesloe house, complete in 2016 . This house was designed alongside side passive solar principles. The roof overhang blocks out hot overhead summer sun, while allowing the low lying winter sun to enter the home. Passive solar design keeps the home cool in the summer and warm in the winter and reducing reliance on mechanical heating and cooling systems! @ Cottesloe, Western Australia, Australia

24.01.2022 Another project from our drawer of broken dreams that didn’t go ahead. This one was a contemporary addition to existing character house. The new addition is clearly identified as new work and is separated from the existing house to give it some breathing space. Clients loved it but some neighbours hated it. Unfortunately the neighbours won.

24.01.2022 Heres a model of our current Eagle Bay project. The shared holiday home for two familys features two separate bedroom wings with a common living/dining/kitchen pavilion - arranged around a central courtyard. @ Eagle Bay, Western Australia

23.01.2022 This is a house in Wilyabrup that I designed a few years ago. Featuring rammed earth walls and a courtyard wall constructed from fieldstone taken from the site. This House is completely off-grid, powered by solar and wind!

22.01.2022 Corian island bench and vanity bench top we designed for a recent project in West Leederville. We use a lot of Corian in our kitchen and bathroom designs. We love it as it’s seamless and easy to clean - (no join lines where dirt and grime can build up!) *not an ad we just love the product

19.01.2022 Our open veranda at our recent West Leederville projects. The exposed beams are soon to be covered in wisteria creating a green ceiling

18.01.2022 One of my recently completed designs in Cottesloe. The sliding Skyeframe doors turn the upstairs living space into a verandah!

15.01.2022 Outdoor room with operable roof on our recent Cottesloe job. The Skyframe windows and operable roof blur the line between external and internal space.

15.01.2022 Funky Corian island bench we designed for our latest City Beach house. We used a minimal palette for this kitchen made up of American Oak cabinetry, travertine flooring and Corian bench tops. #paulhofmanarchitect #corian #architecturewa

14.01.2022 Here's a first look at our recently completed project overlooking Lake Monger in West Leederville. More photos to come!

12.01.2022 Here is our American Oak stair detail from the City Beach house. We love the depth of light and shadow created by the LED strip lights recessed into the handrail.
