25.01.2022 All flu shots have arrived! Eligibility for 2020 'GOV' season influenza vaccines are: all children from 6 months to less than 5 years of age all adults aged 65 years and older pregnant women... all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 6 months and over individuals aged 6 months and older with medical conditions which increase the risk of influenza disease complications. 25.01.2022 Exciting news for 2020! Paul Hopkins Medical Clinic is expanding. We will have another practice at 17 Shakespeare Street. Dr. Luke Notley, Dr. Bianca Byrnes and Dr. Andrea Cosgrove will be located at 17 Shakespeare street as of the 3rd of February. Shakespeare street will have an on site QML Pathology & Physiotherapist. Prior to your appointment you will receive an SMS with your GP location.

21.01.2022 Paul Hopkins Medical Clinic recognises the financial hardship the community is going through due to the COVID-19 crisis. The clinic is now offering all consults bulk billed until the 1st of June 2020. Please feel free to tell family and friends about this as they may be avoiding doctors because of cost. Dr. Luke will be working at the Brisbane street clinic for the week, but Shakespeare will reopen on the Friday 8th Jan as Dr. Sehar will returning from holidays. 20.01.2022 Welcoming back Dr. Allison Discher to Paul Hopkins Medical! Dr Allison will be located at 17 Shakespeare Street. Special interest areas: All aspects of family medicine, women's health and contraceptive advice, chronic disease management, skin checks, management and surgery. At home she is mum to 2 small girls and a large dog called Biscuit. She enjoys roller skating in her free time. Dr. Allison is now taking new patients!

18.01.2022 Paul Hopkins now has a breastfeeding counsellor. Ellen starting on a volunteer basis. She will be working on Wednesdays. It is a free service to patients of PHMC. For all appointments please phone 49511311.

17.01.2022 As of the easing of restrictions in QLD the surgery has new billing changes as of 10th of July 2020. PHMC has increased bulk billing age for all children 16 and under. Patient’s aged 65 and over will also be bulk billed including self-funded retirees. All respiratory clinic appointments will also be bulk billed.

10.01.2022 Hi All, Just an update on our appointments during COVID-19. 1. We are offering 'respiratory clinic' to all patients that have cold or flu like symptoms.This is in an isolation room with a separate entrance to the surgery. The doctor will be in PPE. This is bulk billed. Reception will give you instructions when you phone. 2. We can do over the phone consults for you if you don't need an examination. This will be bulk billed also. If you have any questions call reception & they will answer any questions you may have. Thank you to all of our patients for your cooperation through this crazy COVID-19 time. Stay safe

07.01.2022 !!Flu Vaccines!! The surgery received a small amount of stock for over 65+ which lasted only a couple of days. We are awaiting our next batch and will keep our patients updated when the private vaccines become available also.
