21.01.2022 The Empty Bondi Icebergs during a pool cleaning day provided a good opportunity to get some different photos. I am always looking for interesting compositions as well as contrast in the scene. The horizontal and vertical lines of the swimming lanes facing the horizon, together with the edge of some apartments on Ben Buckler, made this composition more interesting. 15.01.2022 One Central Park, a unique vertical garden wall building in Chippendale Sydney. The building was designed by award winning Parisian architect Jean Nouvel and the vertical gardens designed by the artist and botanist Patrick Blanc. Jean Nouvel’s design concept called for dappled light in the building’s interior. 13.01.2022 The Blue Mountains Botanic Garden, originally known as Mount Tomah Botanical Garden, is well worth the drive from Sydney. It is located 100 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD. The photo below shows The Northern Blue Mountains Wilderness, looking towards Wollemi and Yengo National Parks.... The contrast of the golden wattle in full bloom against the blue haze wilderness worked really well.

13.01.2022 Camp Cove has to be one of the best harbour beaches in Sydney. With spectacular views of the Sydney CBD in the distance, the late afternoon golden hour is one of the best times to capture great light. I wanted to capture the golden hues from the sun in contrast to the moreton bay fig tree in shadow.... It was also good to be able to include in the frame the Sydney cityscape through the branches. Post processing tweaks in Lightroom involved split toning. This allowed me to add a little bit more warmth to the highlights. The great thing is split toning allows you to do this with a subtle amount.

It is classified as a green building, displaying aboriginal artwork on the interior sandstone walls.
