23.01.2022 As many of you know I used to work from home. I have now moved into a shop at 23 high street wodonga and can now offer a full picture framing service as well. Fell free to drop in and we can discuss what ever you need.
19.01.2022 I now also have a web page where you can see some of the jobs I have some for people and the types of framing I can do. www.paulsmedals.com.au Have a look and let me know what you would like to see on there.
18.01.2022 been busy with ANZAC day coming up. answers to the questions i posed. there was only 1 non-pilot ace of WW2 Norman F Williams with 8 confirmed kills. 5 confirmed kills were needed to qualify as an ace. the job with the shortest life expectancy in WW2 was as a tail gunner in the bombers. Norman F Williams CGM,DFM and bar was all of the above and is acknowledged as the most highly decorated NCO (non-commissioned officer) in the RAAF for the whole of WW2.
12.01.2022 a quick history lesson or two. during WW2 how many non-pilot aces were there? and how many "kills" qualified you for the title of an ace? and 1 more what job during WW2 had the shortest life expectancy? have a great day and i will answer these questions tomorrow
10.01.2022 This was a job done by a big name/company in medal mounting and cost about 3 times as much as it should. Please ask any medal mounter how they do the job before trusting your precious medals to them. The dress manuals are there for a reason.
10.01.2022 Some of you may recognize the name in the previous post as being the same name as one of our old neighbors. Yes it was the same man that we knew as Norm. I am not sure how many of you knew of his war service and what he went through so i have decided to enlighten those of you whom are interested. keep an eye on my posts for more info. Paul

05.01.2022 Well Anzac Day is over for the year and i can take a big deep breath. As usual people left getting their medals mounted to the last minute. It would be nice not to rushed for a change but the same thing will happen again next year i am sure.
05.01.2022 Job I did for a customer for her husband as a surprise. During my research discovered he was entitled to more medals then the family knew about so was a great bonus for the family.
04.01.2022 Tuesday Trivia What is the RAAF’s most advanced fighter plane? Bonus points if you know how fast it can go.
04.01.2022 How cool is this?!
03.01.2022 #onthisday 75 years ago WWII ended. Everyday we remember those who fought for the freedom of others. WWII Fact 1: In World War II, British soldiers got a ration of three sheets of toilet paper a day. Americans got 22.
