16.01.2022 Happy New Year bit late I know. So far 2021 has been a whole lot of fun. I have been working away repairing the wiring harnesses for the Williams Alien Poker. Around 20 lengths of wire had to be replaced in the head box harness alone. I still have the playfield and cabinet harnesses to repair, thankfully these don’t look too bad repair wise. All of the connectors have been replaced or repinned.

12.01.2022 Well I have been a rather busy of late so I haven’t had much time to update. But here is a little update. I have been working on 1980 Williams Alien Poker Pinball. If you have been following you will have seen the state of the machine. So things have still been progressing, all be it slow. Mostly I have been waiting on parts from overseas. Some parts I have had to wait over 3 months for and some are still yet to come. The sound boards are almost done and I have been able to t...est most of it. So far seems to be ok. I have fitted a MC6802 cpu instead of the MC6808 as I had some of these in stock. The MC6802 also has the added advantage of internal ram, so the 6810 ram can be removed. The MPU board is completed also. The cabinet has been sanded and filled. More sanding is to come before primer and paint is applied. Head box needs to be stabilised with epoxy timber preserver on the bottom edge before filling and sanding etc. See more

10.01.2022 Well have had a productive weekend on the Alien Poker machine. The playfield has almost finished being re-populated.

02.01.2022 A bit further along with the playfield assembly. Tonight testing general illumination circuits and fitting pop bumper mechanisms under side.

02.01.2022 Paul and the crew are wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone, we hope that you get to spend your Christmas together with your friends and family. We hope that you have made Santa’s nice list and there is a new machine under the tree for you. We have been a bit quite of late because we have been working hard behind the scenes on some other projects to keep us moving forward. Santa has come early for us with a new playfield for Alien Poker so stay tuned for an update early in the new year.
