24.01.2022 Cling to hope, it’s amidst all of your feelings and thoughts and experiences. You’ve got this

20.01.2022 It’s Friday! It’s the end of the week, what do you need? First and foremost, it’s so important to take the time to check in with yourself. Take a moment, sit up nice and straight, breathe deeply and check in with your inner world. What thoughts are showing up? What do you feel in your body? What emotions can you notice? Without judging, simply notice your experience and accept it for exactly what it is. Breathe into those areas where there is pain or discomfort and gently a...sk yourself what you need. You, and only you know exactly what it is that you need at any given time. When we tune into our needs we allow our heart to really speak and guide us into meaningful self care. Remember, your self care may want to look somewhat different each day, as it should be in response to how you’re feeling. Take what you need and enjoy your weekend

18.01.2022 THE SMALL STUFF COUNTS One thing that I’ve really learnt from my clients is that the small stuff matters and it counts! Of course, the big shifts and changes that you make to support your wellbeing are so important. However, often we minimise the positive impact that the small changes can have on our mental health. It might be the deep breath that you take as you wake, or the tea that you savour, or the call that you make, or the pet you cuddle, or the sentence that you jo...urnal. The small stuff that reignites a corner of your heart that says- I am nurturing myself, that small thing really does matter. Sometimes life is overwhelming and we live in a society where there is an implicit expectation to always being doing, achieving and accomplishing. I encourage you to be okay with simply existing and savouring the small moments too. The small moments hold a lot of power. Your mental health is so important, so I encourage you to do whatever you need to do to nurture your soul today. My small thing today is going to be a walk around the block on my lunch break without my phone, listening to all of the sounds

17.01.2022 NURTURING YOUR WELLBEING AT WORK It’s so important to take good care of yourself at work and to prioritise self care during work hours too, instead of saving it all up for the weekends. Your self care might be found in a moment where you take a deep breath, a few seconds where you savour the taste of your tea or a minute of stretching between tasks. Find what makes you feel supported and energised at work and be intentional about making it happen. Don’t forget to do something kind for yourself today

12.01.2022 I stand with you today

03.01.2022 MAKING THE MOST OF A RAINY DAY AT HOME I know the weather lately has been pretty rainy and cosy, and I also know that we all have that cheeky little inner critic that has been telling us we should still be achieving, doing and being productive! Consider the change in weather the ultimate permission slip to let go of your desire to do, and to simply be and exist in the present moment. I find the rainy weather is a great opportunity to train your inner critic up and let it kn...ow that it’s fear of not being productive is okay, but you choose to rest and nurture yourself anyway. If you can practice this necessary skill in the rainy weather, it might even become easier when the weather is beautiful and sunny, but your body is telling you that you just need a day. It is okay to take a day. You deserve it. Resting is the doorway to healing and you deserve to heal. Tune into your body and honour its needs Who has been loving the rainy weather? I know I have, apart from not having a clothes dryer and having a huge pile of washing that needs doing
