10.01.2022 It's the age old question we get asked A LOT! Blinds allow for greater control over the amount of light that gets into the room since you're able to be more precise with their position. We always recommend blinds in smaller rooms as styling-wise curtains should always be draped down to the floor which can make a small room feel even more enclosed. Blinds are also easier to clean than curtains, though it is no secret that they do collect dust so we always like to make sure our... clients know there will be a little bit more cleaning involved. They are a great window furnishing option though when you are working to a strict budget. From a design perspective, curtains offer a lot more options. They can be the focal point of your room, create a sense of calmness and are also practical in that they can block out more light and keep in more heat than blinds, making them ideal for bedrooms. As always though, we don't have a 'one size fits all approach' when it comes to your home, which it is why we will only ever recommend the furnishing that is right for the space. #pavoneandco
