25.01.2022 Touch your dogs paws! It seems very strange to me as a dog groomer who touches every part of a dogs body every day all day that some people don't ever touch their dogs paws!!! They are gorgeous! They have beautiful pads with all different colours and patterns. Pick up each of your dogs paws and be mindful and take time to look at their pads and get to know them. ... Is the hair growing over the pads? Are they cracked or dry like our heels get? Do they have prickles in between their pads? Are they stained brown from licking them? Get to know them! And take your dog to a groomer or vet for advice.

25.01.2022 I was grooming this Airedale Terrier today, every time I tried to clip his face he would turn around and put it in the corner and wouldn't let me touch him, ha ha ha, he was SO CUTE! I thought it was so cute I had to take a photo. The poor baby ended up having a very bad runny bum and I called his mum to come pick him up so he could lay on the lounge, watch tv and sip flat lemonade. So please be aware of your dog's behaviour, when they are being cute they still might be trying to tell you something!

23.01.2022 Baby Got Back! My friend Scarlett has an adorable golden retriever Jenna who gave birth to some beautiful puppies over the Christmas break. I gave them all their first PAWDICURE (nail trim!) last night and oh goodness me are they CUTE!!! Nail trims for $10!

23.01.2022 One thing that people often forget to do when they move house is change the address of their dogs microchip number which is so important in case your dog goes missing. When a microchip is scanned in Victoria the Central Animal Records tell you who and where the dog belongs and if it hasn't been updated with your new address they'll take the dog back to the old address and you won't be there! 20.01.2022 Everyday as a dog groomer you laugh a lot so today started with my first dog arriving and cocking his leg on mine and pissing on my foot! Which wasn't funny at the time but I can laugh about it now!

19.01.2022 DOG DOESN'T LIKE BEING BLOWDRIED? READ ON... For all the dog owners who struggle to dry their dogs with a hairdryer because their dogs are scared of the dryer, try to bite the dryer, don't like the noise etc well this is a very special groomers tip... wrap a towel around their head over their ears and tie it up in a knot... this works for most dogs. WHY? ... Because it does a lot of effective things. 1. It muffles the noise by wrapping it over its ears. 2. It comforts the dog. You are busy with a hairdryer in one hand and either a brush or holding your dog down with the other, so the towel does the job of your third hand comforting the dog by putting something firm around their head. 3. You've just wrapped a towel around their head and they feel like a total idiot and don't know how to react so they sit and stay still because they're thinking... what the f.ck...! Give it a go... love to hear how you went!

14.01.2022 Can everyone PLEASE make sure that when you're taking your puppy dogs out for a walk that you test the temperature of the ground yourself before you go out for adventures so you don't burn their paws! They are very excited to go out for walks so they won't tell you the ground is too hot for their pads they'll just put up with it! Walking earlier in the morning is much better than evening.

14.01.2022 Was at the Party In The Park Pets Expo today painting dogs nails at the Petstock Ormond marquee for a gold coin donation which went to charity. This little cutie had her nails painted then went into the Best Dressed parade as a life guard!

11.01.2022 HURTY PRICKLE SEASON!! Please please please everyone be careful where you're walking your puppy dogs right now because there are a lot of prickles in the grass which get stuck in paws and can not only be painful at the time but creates issues if it's pulled out incorrectly! xxx

01.01.2022 Please make sure all dog owners to check your dogs paws everyday after being to the park, there are a LOT of nasty natural prickles getting stuck between pads and makes a dogs paw very sore and annoying.
