25.01.2022 So proud to be amongst this group of fantastic academies and working alongside Heiniger Academy. Our first students for the second half of 2020 start in just under 2 weeks. We have one spot in our September Course left for the year... so... if you are thinking about it let us know asap as once this spot is filled it will be 2021 before we will have placements available again.

21.01.2022 It is so nice to see when a puppy has gone from bad to great :) This little guy had to be wet clipped all over to save any coat on his first visit and now we are on a grooming schedule and have done a bit of combing training with mum and he gets to look cute and fluffy while he stays comfortable....

11.01.2022 Our first two students working on their Certificate III in Pet Grooming and Certificate III in Animal Care with Heiniger Grooming - Australia & New Zealand have done a great job and got to work across many animal types and breeds both Pure and Mixed. Belinda and Tash overcame many obstacles along the way....One of which was a real life first aid emergency on one of our baby miniature goats..... Well done girls.

08.01.2022 Just ran into the salon in between goat houses to help a student who is struggling with her teddy head exam. Please excuse the ratty hair and messy look ( this is how I look on farming days lol). Thought this might be of help to those past students struggling with their teddy heads and for our owners to see what their pups do... yes your pups sit as quietly and patiently as Benny did for me today!!!!

05.01.2022 Had a helper clean the goat houses this afternoon. Bunny was in today for a dental and Willow had to have his vaccinations so while they were at the vet Squirt became my offsider! The boys were a bit perplexed as to wether they should play with him or head butt him through the fence!!

04.01.2022 What do you get when you cross Squirt my Boxer with Willow my Westie???? A tween Airedale!!!! The class clown with a jaw like a crocodile!!!! So today I was supposed to have a student in but due to travel hiccups she wasn’t able to come in. Catch up Monday :) We had a young Airedale booked in for a groom and it was great he was booked in on his own. This was only his second time being groomed -first at PSA- and his fear of grooming was huge. He and I just spent one on one t...ime helping him find his confidence as this boy could have gone one way or the other..... Deep down you could see he was really trying. I thank his mum for trusting me to spend the time with him to do his groom as I really think this boy will go far. Even got a bit of a hug before he left. Money wise my hourly rate was pretty slim but satisfaction and heart warming wise he has been one of the best grooming moments I have done in a while. This video shows you how far he came - To start, I had to lift him in the bath and when I first started to pop a comb, clippers or my hand around his face and muzzle was definitely done with care... Great work today little man! See more
