21.01.2022 REMINDER Good Morning paws2wash Family As in any business that works out of an appointment book, my daily schedule depends upon appointments being kept.... Each day I have a fixed number of spaces available for grooming & I always lk forward to seeing all of your smiling faces & wagging tailsBecause of this fixed number, I do have a stand-by list of furry friends waiting to be groomed. If you find that you wont be able to keep your scheduled appointment, please try to give me at least 24 hours notice so that I can call our stand-by guys. If you cancel the morning of your appointment, chances are I wont be able to contact them in time. Of course, I understand that unexpected things can happen; just call me as soon as you can. No-shows are very disappointing to me - thats when someone doesnt show up for their appointment, doesnt contact me & I cant get in touch with them. What happened Still, I always give folks the benefit of the doubt & think perhaps they forgot. I do offer however to send you a reminder. However, if you no-show 3 times, we have to ask that you pay in advance for your next scheduled grooming. So be sure to call or message me to cancel or reschedule Thankyou Lauren

08.01.2022 Lockdown Doggos: Day 2! Let’s talk enrichment feeding! Mental stimulation is SUPER important for our clever puppers - including our friends with a total ...of 2 brain cells! Enrichment at meal times is the easiest way to get more mental stimulation into your pups day! There market is full of enrichment toys these days! From great brands like - - Kong - PetSafe Brand - JW - WestPaw - StarMark - Lickimat Kibble or raw fed - it’s just as simple to provide your pets meal in enrichment toys to increase the time is takes for them to devour their meal. In nature is takes dogs a looooong time to stalk, hunt, kill and consume their meals - 10 seconds in a silver bowl doesn’t quite have the same mental effect! Providing puzzles, games and toys to feed your dog is much more beneficial for their brains! Don’t have toys? No worries! Cardboard boxes, bottles, egg cartons, homemade snuffle mats, grass (natures snuffle mat!), scatter feeds, towels and homemade toys definitely do the trick too! Get creative and have a bit of fun with it! There is a huuuge group on Facebook called Canine Enrichment with tonnes of fantastic ideas too! And it doesn’t just have to be food related; that’s just one small part of enrichment! Pinterest, Instagram, Google, YouTube - there’s ideas everywhere! One important step if your doggo is new to this! Make it easy for them first - they’ll give up if it’s all too hard to begin with. Gradually increase the difficulty as they progress.
