24.01.2022 Wow!! Thank you so much to our amazing community for your amazing fundraising efforts on Saturday! If you bought raffle tickets, had a photo snapped, a pamper, did a Paint Your Pet class or paid for parking, you contributed to the $8000 raised! We have now proudly raised over $43,000 for our charity partner!

24.01.2022 We’ve had lots of comments on how well parking ran yesterday. A VERY special thanks to Carrara SES (State Emergency Service) for doing an absolutely fantastic job once again! There are so many people that come together to help Paws at the Park run, and this is one we definitely can’t do without!

23.01.2022 Throwback to our 2nd ever Paws at the Park in August 2016! Do you spot some regular favourites on the lineup?

23.01.2022 Hi everyone! Firstly - we miss all of your smiling faces and (of course) your doggos! Managing Paws at the Park safely in the context of community spread of COVID-19 has been top of our mind since this craziness started. We were ahead of the game at the start of 2020, we had dates set, a collab with Gold Coast Film Festival organised and locations and stallholders booked in months ago! We chose to wait it out and see what would be the best thing to do for all the dog mums and... dads of the Gold Coast and Brisbane. Because of the huge numbers of you that turn out for our events we unfortunately decided not to hold our usual August event . We just don't think it is feasible or ethical to hold the event of our size at this time. We are devastated too, but watch this space, stay safe and hug your doggo! In good news, we have locked in 7 November for our return - so keep safe and fingers crossed we will be in a much better position at the end of the year! Jenna & Lia

That’s why Animal Welfare League Queensland will always be there for them Today is R U OK Day, a reminder to start a conversation that could change a life today and any day it's needed. 04.01.2022 Happy birthday to Neil!

04.01.2022 If you get sick, it's because of people. Not dogs, cats, or tigers! But maybe don't get a pet tiger? This is the time to consider fostering or adopting (if you have the time and resources to look after a new pet), not dumping them at the shelter!

02.01.2022 We're a big fan of the pit bull take down too
