22.01.2022 Yesterday afternoon Shelby was out the front with us for only a few minutes and was stung by a bee just below her lip within a couple of minutes she was vomiting white foam a decision was made to take her to Vetwest as our usual vet was closed upon arrival she collapsed and was given adrenaline and a steroid shot she had a anaphylactic reaction to the bee sting she was then taken to WAVES where she then spent the next 24 hours under constant watch and a number of blood tests ...done great staff at WAVES by the way A fair few $$$$$ later (but hey she is family) and my wife is very relieved to have her squishy faced little beast back My Wife was a vet nurse was for many years so knew that we may get a call during the night with bad news but we were able to collect her tonight We will now have a Epi pen at home and on her adventures If you see any of the above mentioned reaction with your dog go straight to the vet don’t wait if we hadn’t we would have lost Ms Shelby See more

If you can’t walk on the footpath or road in bare feet, neither can the dogs. Do the right thing, seriously it’s not that hard! See more
