22.01.2022 Jeff, Jeanne and I were lucky enough to visit Jeff’s sister Lesley and her husband Mike, in the USA recently. We managed to fit in some dog related activities - watching a local agility trial with Edrie who competes with her beautiful Belgian Shepherds in agility, sheep herding and Rally O. Jeff is making friends with Saphire, a Portuguese Water Dog, who was the instructor’s demo dog at a scent work orientation class. And I caught up with Stacey, a fellow certified Pro Dog Trainer from North Carolina.

22.01.2022 Beautiful girls River and Nim relax while I run their baths.

22.01.2022 To all of my valued clients, Due to the current situation with Covid 19 and Stage 3 restrictions in Victoria, I have decided to close temporarily. I will contact those clients with existing appointments directly over the coming days. Please feel free to phone me if you have any questions about grooming your dogs at home, during what could be a lengthy interval between salon visits.... Keep checking in on this Facebook page for advice and tips. Above all, I hope you and your families and my furry friends stay well during this challenging time. Best wishes, Martine xx

19.01.2022 Regular client Bailey looks pretty cute before his clip, but seems pretty happy with the result!

17.01.2022 Poncho is just so pretty, I couldn’t stop photographing her! She is just 9 months old and comes in every 4 to 6 weeks for her beauty treatment.

16.01.2022 I will miss this fellow! Max has been coming to me for several years, with Maggie his mum, who sadly went to the Rainbow Bridge recently. His family are moving from Beechworth to Port Macquarie, and we wish them well.

15.01.2022 And here are some of the lovely dogs we’ve had in the grooming salon this week.

12.01.2022 Here’s before and after shots of young Hamish, and his sister Jessie. We have such a soft spot for Westies, they were so popular in the UK when we lived there. These two are such a lovely pair

12.01.2022 Useful information for the current season we are experiencing.

12.01.2022 Bailey, looking very dapper after his groom this week.

09.01.2022 Timely information as the warm weather arrives.

09.01.2022 Here’s Candy, very sprightly for 15! I’ve been regularly grooming her since her first groom.

07.01.2022 Jess keeping watch and waiting for dad. She has been coming to us since her first groom 13 and a half years ago, and has known Terri since a pup.

02.01.2022 Time to shed those winter woollies! Here is a newcomer transitioning from Yeti to Cocker Spaniel x Poodle. He was extremely matted so it was a painstaking task, and the job wasn’t finished to my liking. You have to work with the dog in front of you however, and it was kinder to leave it a little rough around the edges than force the issue with an already stressed fellow. Hopefully with more regular trips to the groomer and brushing at home, we will build some trust so we can keep him more comfortable.
