24.01.2022 Daphne~Baldivis~$150~1 Year old Freddy's sister is now ready to look for her new home. She is a charismatic young lady with affection on her mind. Daphne follows her Carer like a dog-and likes to snuggle on her bed at night. She is a bit slower than Freddy to warm up, but if done gently and slowly, she will reward you. Beautiful Daphne will make a great family companion. Good with other Cats and doesn't seem phased by docile, cat friendly Dogs. Older children would be best suited to her. She is looking for a calm home preferrably with another cat she can grow and play with. Due to her timid nature we are seeking an inside/contained home. 23.01.2022 Missey~East Vic Park~$99 A sweet, gentle lady, Missey is 12 years old. She has been well loved all her life, and it shows in her demeanor. A no fuss cat, all Missey wants is your time, love, and a nice quiet life. She prefers to sit bedside you, rather than on you, loves pats while on the ground and loves! being brushed. Missey is quite a playful Cat who will gently let you know when shes had enough. She loves cat greenies, her scratch mat, and is well behaved -i.e. does n...ot scratch furniture or climb on benches. Not a pick me up cat Missey prefers to play, and as she is quite a funny cat she can be very entertaining. 22.01.2022 This week the world lost another beautiful furbaby With an extremely heavy heart, we look back on the past 4 and a half years of our Creators life. Late 2015 before this Rescue was formed a beautiful soul was entrusted to us. He came at a time when we were low, and he managed to turn everything around in a very short time Casper an 11 year old Abbyssinian so full of life, love and mischief left a lasting impression on everyone who met him. His successful rehoming 2 months ...later was the encouragement we needed to move forward and help more Cats. So in early 2016 Paws Cat Rescue was formed. Casper led a very loved life from the time he was born. We are honoured to of been allowed to help transition him to his second home where love and adoration was continued to the end. In 2017 Casper adorned the cover of our Tradie Calender, showing us all just how its done with a whole lot of sass and charm as can be seen in these photos. We send our love to his Mums, family and friends. And know that Casper is not far away at all, strutting his wings and making his way into more hearts RIP sweet man See more

If you are a home body, I will be your best friend. I really don’t like big dogs. I’m a pretty decent size cat, I like my space (or a bed to share maybe). I like other cats with medium speed introduction, humans of all ages especially if that comes with pats and cuddles (even kids, I like kids- I don’t mind their snuggles one bit) ...and small dogs with slowish introductions. Max has an amazing character - he is energetic, and your ankles make great places for him to rub. He is not a fussy eater and is completely litter trained. Not a lap cat yet, Opal loves to be nearby though. Unknown how she is with other animals and children, however not much phases her, so she should adapt well. 20.01.2022 Miles ~Greenfields~1 year old~ON HOLD I'm looking for the perfect home for me. I am a little shy, but with a bit of patience I will come out of my shell and then I will snuggle with you. I think humans are nice if they are relatively quiet. I'm better off with older quieter kids, as smaller kids might be a bit too much for me. I don’t like being left alone for too long, it does make me cry, so if you stay at home a lot that would make me the happiest... I am ok with other cats in slow introductions and small dogs. Big dogs seem ok but we are still both on the fence on that, but I think I will be ok if it’s slow introductions. My Foster Mum does have greyhounds so it’s a lot to take in. I am pretty ok with her chihuahua as he is a bit more my size. I’m litter trained, I’m not fussy, I don’t hog the bed. Due to his timid nature we are seeking an inside/contained home. 12.01.2022 We are very proud to announce the finalization of Junipers Adoption many Carers have invested alot of blood, sweat, and tears on this lass to bring out her true nature, we are extremely grateful they did as Juniper now has her forever home with a lovely, caring & devoted Family Thankyou to everyone involved, including the lady who kept her Mum and whole litter safe until they were eventually caught. Junipers rehoming now closes the chapter on her feline familys 17 month rehabilitation

And we have some very sick kittys taking all our time and energy to nurse back to health. On top of mounting vet bills, all this extra nurturing comes at a cost. 05.01.2022 On the 21st of this month 4 years ago we took this feral rascal in and hopefully gave him a better life than he would've had tossed to the side out there. We never quite got the feral out of him....but he slowly became a loveable rogue and endeared himself to us from a distance. Today he became suddenly ill and we had to send him off to the rainbow bridge. RIP sweet boy You will be missed xx Blackie aka Kitt.
