15.01.2022 To those of you who are experiencing these uncertain times without your best mate by your side, l am sorry. To those who have thought to themselves in the past weeks or day's this would have been such a special time spent with my fur loved one, l am sorry. I am sorry because l can't take your pain away. I can however encourage you to jump on that couch and snuggle that favourite toy of theirs. I can suggest you grab their photo and rest it on your heart..... I can suggest you talk to them just the way you used to when it was just the two of you. What l can promise you is that none of this makes you weird. No you have not lost your marbles( l was asked this recently) I can promise you, although you may not have considered this, that you are infact one of very many that l have spoken with who has experienced a beautiful love which unfortunately means a significant loss and these times are tough on you. I can promise you that you are never alone. See more

14.01.2022 Here we are once again it's almost Christmas time. A beautiful time of love and laughter for many but also a time that we can feel especially emotional. I think it's important to remind each other that the loss of our fur babies matters. It hurts, the pain is real and yet we may not have a grave to visit to place flowers or a support group to attend. If this is your first Christmas without your loved one l am so very sorry for your loss. I am sorry you don't need to book a ...kennel, a groomer, a relative to house sit. I am sorry you no longer need to look for pet friendly accommodation or need to consider fireworks or stolen ham from the Christmas table. It is ok if some of this brings you a little bit of relief but it's also ok if you would give anything to have these worries again. Often the things that drove you crazy about him or her are the things you would give anything to deal with today. Let's support each other and take the time to note our fur babies below and to remind each other that we are not alone in our grief and there really are people who understand and care. See more

Actually, everyone has days when they feel Not Very Okay At All. Some people are just better at hiding it than others. "And the second thing you need to know... is that it's okay to feel Not Very Okay At All. It can be quite normal, in fact. And all you need to do, on those days when you feel Not Very Okay At All, is come and find me, and tell me. Don't ever feel like you have to hide the fact you're feeling Not Very Okay At All. Always come and tell me. Because I will always be there."
