18.01.2022 An important reminder to please keep your cat inside at night, or even better permanently. There are great cat run options available nowadays, otherwise a bird aviary works well too! Not to mention your vet bills are likely to drop dramatically as most cat related injuries and illnesses are linked to being outdoors

13.01.2022 Three tips for getting your overweight dog in shape (and reducing the risk of joint disease!). 1. Dogs gain weight the same way humans do: by eating too mu...ch and exercising too little. One simple way to improve your dog's diet is by switching your dog's treats to healthy options, such as fresh chopped carrots, apples (no pips) or green beans. If you're training your dog and giving treats a reward, remember to subtract those calories from your dog's food allotment. 2. Additional exercise will help your dog lose weight. Most love to go for a walk, run, swim or hike, so rug up and enjoy the outdoor activities with him. For an obese dog, it's best to have a vet check him over to discuss an appropriate exercise program. You'll want to start slow, and increase exercise over time once he starts losing weight. 3. See your vet. The is probably the most important tip of all. Just like with people, it's important that dogs lose weight in a healthy and sustainable way. The most successful weight loss programs include regular, professional monitoring and adjustments to diet and exercise. By keeping your dog at a healthy weight, you'll reduce the risk of damage to joints, bones and ligaments. ......................................................... If you're interested in safeguarding your dog's joints (or treating existing pain!), ask your vet about our 4CYTE supplement next time you visit. We're running an 'extra 25% free' promotion at the moment, which is only available through clinics. Product information is available at our website, www.interpath.global
