18.01.2022 Well done everyone for a successful first WOW session. All dogs adapted really quickly and we even got to have a sniff up close at the end. Next week we work on walking position and rewarding focus. Bring small soft treats in a bag that you can have on you.

14.01.2022 This one eyed pup is a MalteseX named Elle and has a keen sense of smell to compensate for the vision loss. Mum Lisa is working on her impulse control and barking habits. We played It's Yer Choice and the Find it game and she was such a fast learner.

06.01.2022 Met this handsome boy today! Chester the food/possession guarding Mareema/Golden mix. His parents showed me some of is behaviour and told me some traumatic experiences he had been through and it’s no wonder he was upset. With a new slow feeding routine and strict rules he has already showed how eager he is to please. I have PAWsitive hopes for him

01.01.2022 This is Nya and little Roma May. Nya was giving her mum some grief when it came to calm behaviour. We worked out that the ball is her secret weapon and will be used as reward from now on. Puppy Roma May showed us the perfect puppy recall!

This special day has been celebrated for 16yrs and while it’s main focus... is on the adoption of dogs and rescue shelters, it’s also the one day that we truly get to honour and acknowledge the impact that canines have on our lives.
