19.01.2022 *** Important Notice regarding the dreaded COVID-19: Currently Paws on Wheels is running as per normal although a few small changes have already been made. (I am trying to see more dogs outdoors where possible, obviously not an option for most cats). Please do inform us BEFORE your appointment if you feel unwell, or if you meet the criteria for self isolation. Your pet’s welfare is important to us, so if you are self isolating we can discuss over the phone how best to proceed... to assist with medical support for your pet. As this situation progresses we will continue to inform you of any changes that affect our services. The veterinary industry is still awaiting formal recognition of essential service status, so we are unsure what stage 3 may mean for us. However I am optimistic that our services will continue as hopefully Australia will follow England and NZ’s leads in declaring Vets as essential service workers. Having said that if I, or any of my family or team are exposed to a confirmed positive case, or develop symptoms consistent with COVID-19, I will obviously need to enter home quarantine and the chocolate, wine, bunny slippers & Loony Tunes will need to come out for a few weeks... Please stay safe, stay well, and do your best to have some time away from the continual red bouncing viral images that relentlessly haunt our TV screens; listen to some beautiful music, take some time for yoga or meditation if that’s your thing, or bake up a storm and get that veggie patch cranked up for Autumn planting. Eat clean & drink plenty of water. Ultimately I pray this will unite our community and create more urban gardening and produce swapping amongst neighbours. Hopefully our community follows all advice and limits the spread of disease, to keep us all safe. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my beautiful, loyal clients. You have supported our little business, some of you since we began in 2017, and we are very humbled by your kindness and your loyalty. I would like to leave you with a pic of our little pup Lizzie, who has warmed all of our hearts. The timing of bringing her into our lives couldn’t have been better, as she is oblivious to the World’s worries, greets us with boundless enthusiasm, and makes us smile every single day! In love & light, Yvonne

18.01.2022 IMPORTANT NOTICE DUE TO BAROSSA COVID-19: This week Paws on Wheels will not be travelling to our Swan Reach Day clinic. We have also been cancelling appointments that have been made up to and including Wednesday April 1 and will be contacting those clients later in the week to discuss whether we can reschedule these. Thursday & Friday appointments will be contacted on Wednesday to further discuss whether they can proceed. As this situation is continuing to change and evolve, we apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. We will also assess whether we can travel to Swan Reach again next week, based on the situation closer to the time. Stay safe and stay well! Y

16.01.2022 Spot the somebody who made himself quite at home yesterday during an afternoon visit for other members of his family! A nice sunny, sheltered soft spot up high, who could find a better bed?! Nadia this little man won my heart yesterday!

14.01.2022 Happy Birthday to a special little doggo, Suede is 14 years old today! She celebrated this wonderful milestone with her sister Velvet and her family on the weekend and we thank her family for sharing these pics (don’t worry; the cake is not chocolate but a cake especially made for dogs!!!) Suede has had many health challenges and we are so pleased that she has been able to celebrate this amazing milestone! Unfortunately I am unable to repost the video but I am hoping her family may add it to the comments section below, very cute!

14.01.2022 Thanks for coming to see us today Dr Yvonne and making us safe to go out and about with our annual injections! Love Milly and Shelby

11.01.2022 Please share this link, I really hope it reaches as many vets/vet students/friends & family members as possible. I cried so much, but it needs to be out there for more open discussion. Thank you. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bOXfaAi8X7k
