25.01.2022 Yesterday was a very busy day at Best Friends at Gungahlin for their grand opening - around 50 dogs and one cat! We are there again today between 10..00am and 3.00pm - call in if you want your pet photographed. Have only had time to post one photo - meet Charlie :-)

24.01.2022 So much fun at Best Friends at Gungahlin today - and we had the privilege of meeting Murphy the Tibetan Mastiff - he loved Santa!

23.01.2022 For those of you in Canberra, I did an interview with a local radio station recently about breast cancer. If you can register and participate in the Mother's Day Classic, it's a very worthwhile cause - and one that's very close to my heart. I will be doing my last chemo treatment on Thursday this week, and hope to be back to photography in the very near future.

If you want to have photos taken, between 1.00pm and 3.00pm is booked out, but they are now taking bookings for between 3.00pm and 4.00pm. Bring your furbaby down and enjoy the stalls. 21.01.2022 Dear Pawtography friends. It's been a while since we posted anything, but Trish has been dealing with serious health issues that are ongoing, but she's doing ok. As the dog show season starts, we'll try to get to some of the dog shows to take photos of those beautiful dogs. We can still arrange pet portrait sessions for those who want them. 18.01.2022 Special Mini Portrait Sessions, Canberra Only! During July and August, Pawtography will be offering special mini portrait sessions. You and your pet can be photographed at an outdoor location. The mini sessions are for half an hour only, and with a maximum of two pets.... The cost is $175 and for this you get an A4 print ready to be framed as well as two low resolution digital images. There are a limited number of spots available so book as soon as you can to avoid disappointment. To book a session you can call Trish on 0402 487 706 or email her at [email protected].

15.01.2022 We are back! Trish's treatment is now finished and she's starting to feel good again. For our Canberra Pawtography friends, we'll be at Best Friends in Gungahlin on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 May for their grand opening from 10.00am to 3.00pm. If you bring your pet along you'll get a 10cm x 15cm print free. You will need to come back to the store a week later to pick up the print though. The store is taking bookings, call 6280 0837. 10.01.2022 Dear Pawtography friends. I'm writing to let you all know that I've sold Pawtography to the wonderfully talented Ian. Ian is a professional photographer who has an amazing affinity with animals, and a lot of you already know him - he was Santa for almost all the sessions late last year. While my health has continued to improve over the past eight months or so, it isn't good enough for me to continue the business. I'm doing ok though - so please don't worry :-) The Pawtograph...y website is still there, and of course this page will continue on, so you can contact Ian through either channels. I plan on taking lots of photos of the incredible world around me, just not as a professional. I've attached two of my favourite photos of Ian being Santa from last year - you can see the lengths he's prepared to go to in one of them to get a good shot, and the other just shows his connection with a beautiful giant of a dog. Thanks again friends, I've so enjoyed photographing your loved fur babies :-) Trish

09.01.2022 An update on Best Friends Santa Photos. Because the Hyperdome will be putting their own Santa outside Best Friends on Friday 11 December we have had to cancel that night. The only opportunity to have your pet photographed with us at Best Friends at the Hyperdome will be this Saturday morning between 10.30am and 12.30pm. Hurry though - not many spots left. We will be at Best Friends at Fyshick soon though - details to follow as soon as they are confirmed.

07.01.2022 Save the date! Saturday 22 October Best Friends at Fyshwick are holding a mini trade expo in their carpark from 10.00am to 4.30pm. There will be local Canberra dog organisations and businesses to promote their services during the day. We'll be photographing pets in the puppy pre-school room between 1.00pm and 3.00pm, and the store is now taking bookings, so call them on 6203 2500 to secure your spot. Looking forward to seeing lots of Canberra's pets again :-)

01.01.2022 Well, we've had a huge four weeks. Many thanks to Best Friends at Gungahlin, Fyshwick and Tuggeranong who hosted our Santa photos and provided everyone that came with a free print of Santa with their furbaby. We did 278 dogs, 12 cats, 115 guinea pigs and 5 rats! I have been so busy processing and printing I haven't had time to put up anything, but I thought with this post I'd put up the surprise that came in on Friday night to Tuggeranong. This is Dougal, and the first Irish Setter I've seen in the three years I've been doing Santa photos. You can probably tell I have a soft spot for Irish Setters, as that's what my boy Finn is - he's our mascot
