25.01.2022 Well it's not quite done. But George and Faye and the kids had there first night at home last night. A big thanks to Brendon Crilly. Great effort mate. So many people to thank. A few more weeks and it should be looking really nice for Christmas.

25.01.2022 Hello again, well one week later and a heap of progress. Thanks to the following trades and businesses that have contributed over the past few weeks. Gyprock and Insulation by Hutchinson Constructions, thanks Mick and Greg Electrical by Crown Electrical, thanks Jordan... Gary from JJ Richards for yet another bin movement. Also thanks to Dave and his team at Huntley Tip for helping us out. Unanderra Hardware Man, for again supplying product, this time all the fix out materials. Tiles supplied by Corrimal Ceramic Tiles, Mick and Charlie thanks heaps. Charbel Seeman, and his team, a great effort to lay all floor tiles in a few days. Thanks Jimmy with the stickers. Grout supplied by Construction Technologies Australia, Glenn Mannix. Paint supplied by PPG, thanks David Bunt. Internal painting by Roy's Painting, thanks Roy. Tony Di Milia Flloring for supply and install of flooring. The floors look great Tony. Fllors also laid by Brendon and Cameron, as well as George (family friend). Trio plumbing for internal rough in and internal fit outs. As you can see numerous trades digging in to get this across the line, with our target completion date for internal works being the 28th November, fingers crossed. So come on Illawarra when you need a trade, look through this list of fair dinkum genuine, good hearted people, there the ones you want on your job. Keep going Brendon, nearly there mate, we don't underestimate your project management skills, bloody great job.

22.01.2022 Hello Everybody. Its been several weeks since I updated the page. I have recently returned to site and been absolutely blown away by the efforts of trades on this job, working tirelessly. Well done to the two main guys Brendan and Cameron. I don't underestimate however the efforts by others. I have attached a few photos so you can see the progress. This job is really taking shape and we hope to have George and his family back in the house very soon.... After a great effort by Sloans and JLD roofing, we were very lucky to have John Gleeson, from FYS Air Conditioning, install a dual cassette air-conditioning unit, kindly donated by Panasonic. GREAT WORK JOHNIE GLEESON YOUR A LEGEND FOR ORGANISING THIS. fysairconditioning.com.au - check the website out. There has been a lot happen on site, so I will add it slowly, over the next week, to get everyone up to speed.

20.01.2022 We still have the same emotions from the generosity of everyone that was involved in the house renos and the fundraiser, also the go fundme when George was in hospital This most definitely helped us along the way. We have reached 1 year living in the home and it sure has gone quick so much has happened. with George been in and out of hospital many to many times and slowly recovering from them as its a ongoing illness that follows quadriplegia. We found and purchased a seco...nd hand disabled access vehicle which has got us to Sydney appointments 2 times a week and the freedom to get out and about like on this casual Sunday. We have experienced the break down. Omg all the buckles the tie downs on wheelchair I thought we wouldn't get George out quick enough because it was smoking up.... I got him out and safe in the truck bay up picton road. we called the reliable source we knew Quick Hitch Towing they came with no hesitation even though the mobiles connection was really bad we made sense of our location. Soon enough they came. thank you. Cars are ongoing problems anyway!! The winter months he made it through with the kind hearted families that brought him electric blanket which he loved and he survived 24 hours with Thank you x This helped him keep his body heat regulated as his body can't regulate any temp. Now with summer and the heat he has aircon which its his saviour. Thank you. To our family members that often come and help at home without asking them, our friends/new friendships that visit and cheer George up you now who you are? Thank you. We are wishing everyone a wonderful Christmas and a prosperous New Year 2017 with great health, strength and love. George, Faye, Cameron and Jasmine forever greatful and never forgotten

18.01.2022 The guys from Advanced Constructions at it again today. Thanks again Antax for supplying the steel beam and post. The boys installed the steel beam to take the load of the upstairs joist, allowing an open plan living area for the Testa family to watch tv.

15.01.2022 Now as we live in our house we are here listening to the hard working men outside in their element Brendan and his apprentice Cameron, everyday making progress to make it an other step closer to finish. 'Tabak' Renderers have been busy doing their fantastic job too. People are good.. Thank you, and it's looking like a great Christmas to come. It's my second wish coming true as we see it happening. 11.01.2022 We are looking at roofers to help install fascia, gutters and roof sheets. If anyone can help out please contact Brendan on 0411065271. We are looking at starting these works towards the end of next week.

10.01.2022 Advanced Construction workers Cameron and Brendan finish installing supporting beams enabling them to knock down final walls for the open plan living/ lounge area and installing more flooring.

10.01.2022 After a few weeks with not updating the page i thought it was about time for some more progress photos of the building work that have been done to the Testa residents. We have had help from Sloans Roofing with the install of fascia and gutter to the new extension. JLD roofing has also jumped on board and installed the roof sheeting to the new extension. ... The Advanced construction boys have been installing the outside eave sheets, and also have been getting the inside frame work ready for gyprock sheeting. Again big thanks to Sloans Roofing and JLD Roofing for helping out

08.01.2022 Hi, its been along while since posting updates? George continues to try and accept his new way of living with his up and downs massive challenges for his self/personal care and being a Dad and learning new ways of being a supportive husband. George is still greatful for the support and friendships he continues to have and to the special close ones that keep in contact regularly with him. George is back in the gym and striving for more positive challenges!! ... George Testa you have come a long way to acheive these goals of yours! You started off in rehab with 1/2 kg weights for your arm curls and today reached 5kg in 2 years!! And your bench press you have reached 10kg each side..... We are So so proud of you!

07.01.2022 There was a few days delay on building at the Testa residents this week due the torrential rain. However, the guys from Advanced Constructions did manage to stand and finish all the roof trusses. Cameron and Brendan started installing the roof on thursday and conpleted it today. Big thanks the WADSWORTH frame and trusses for helping out with the trusses.
