20.01.2022 The Payne Road Fathers Day Stall is on Wednesday 2 September. There are badges, chocolates, mugs, cook books, juggling balls, bags, tea towels, spices, treats, plants, books, heat packs and puzzles among other things. Dont forget to give your kids some money to make their purchases on Wednesday! We hope there are some happy Dads and significant people on Fathers Day.

19.01.2022 In todays assembly we had a wonderful performance of Rodeo by the strings ensemble. Mrs Brazzale presented Term 3s behaviour awards. Mr Ross congratulated everyone on a successful sports carnival and reminded everyone about Tour de Payne tomorrow. All bikes should be taken to the tennis court as you arrive at school. #activeschooltravel... Representatives from Yr 3 told us about their exciting and spiffing Street Science incursion today. Weekly awards, Gotchas and RAK awards were handed out. 4M won both last weeks AST award and todays assembly behaviour award.

16.01.2022 Anyone that Volunteers for the school (in class, parent reps, helps with school extra curricular or at school events) or volunteers for the pandc in anyway (tuckshop, uniform shop, bookshop, fundraising, events and more), please come down just outside the school oval gate at 8.30am Monday Morning for our Schools Volunteers breakfast. Numbers are not at capacity so please just turn up if you can. Hope to see you there.

15.01.2022 At Assembly Gabe and Alex presented with Mrs Brazzale more exciting Science projects. Mrs Gough wrapped up an amazing Science Week showing creative home projects, home experiments and Scientist/Sea Creature Dressup photos plus other fun weekly events on the big screen. Mrs Gibbs spoke about our PRSS OptiMinds teams and introduced them, Quill and Isabel spoke about their OptiMinds experience. There were many awards handed out: School Awards, Sight Words, Mathletics, Awesome Authors, Gotchas and RAK awards. Well done everyone!

14.01.2022 WE NEED PARENT VOLUNTEERS FOR DROP AND GO! STARTING FIRST DAY OF TERM 4. Next term (and going forward) we will have 2 designated pick up zones: Payne Road Zone & Kernel St Roundabout controlled by a parent volunteers and staff members. We need 4 parent volunteers per day to roster on for 1/2 hour afternoon shifts (1 parent per zone, 2 parents as backup - the idea is that you roster on for that day for the rest of the term with a parent volunteer backup). You will get a designated parking spot for your shift, HiVis vest, a lanyard and a rundown of how the pickup areas will work. 14.01.2022 In todays assembly Mrs Brazzale thanked the P & C for organising the great Fathers Day stall today and those families that donated items. She discussed bullying and the role of bystanders in helping to stop bullying behaviour. We learnt how bystanders can be Upstanders, to help stop inappropriate behaviour. Mr Milne and Chappy Andy helped in a role play to demonstrate this! Our Environment Captains reminded everyone one to use the appropriate bins for their rubbish. We hav...e recycling, scrunchy plastic and compost bins easily accessible for everyones use. We met our two Optiminds teams and heard a little about the work they have done on challenges. Mrs Christian let us know that we will celebrate Book Week in term 4. Eloise, Elizabeth, Holly and Daniella were awarded Awesome Author Awards. Mr Heggie reminded us that tomorrow is our #activeschooltravel Dawdle with Dad day. Prep HI won this weeks AST award. Weekly awards, RAK and Gotchas were awarded. 4CG was awarded the assembly behaviour flag.
12.01.2022 Entertainment Membership 2020 Entertainment Memberships are available again this year. Each membership lasts for one year, with up to 3 months from date of purchase to activate. Same process. 10am Year 5 & 6 come down. ... All races should be completed by morning tea. 1.45pm FINALS. All classes will come down to watch the finals and Preps race. Preps will go first, then champion races and staff races to finish off the day. All students participating are to place their bikes in the tennis court in the marked areas. Parents wanting to watch are to do so from behind the oval fence. Bring a chair and cheer along. See more

05.01.2022 Assembly started with Mr Heggie giving a safety message about Social Media & Mobile Phones. Any students with Mobile Phones at school need to leave them at the office at the start of the school day & pick up at the end. Phones are not be left in school bags during the day. Mr Heggie also spoke about the importance of RUOK Day? We all waved our yellow hands and Max, Holly, Sienna, Molly and Maddy did a skit about RUOK? Mr Heggie also spoke about our upcoming Tour De Payne whic...h is next Thursday. Look out for more information about this. Mrs Christian spoke about Indigenous Literacy Week and handed out Awesome Authors awards. Well done to Elizabeth Sergeyeva in Prep for winning the Reading Challenges competition. A huge congratulations to our 2 PRSS Opti-minds Teams. Regional Honours for Team 2 and a Spirit Award for Team 1. This is fantastic. Darcy from Energex did a presentation about the safety around power and we finished with handing out school awards. Action Packed. See more
