How many years at Pays? 4 years Previous position held: Automotive spray painter at SPB Smash Repairs at Scone and Blooms Automotive If you weren't working in the Aviation Industry, what other Industry would you be in? Probably the Automotive Industry but would love to have had a career in Scuba Diving. Favourite Food: Pizza Hobbies/Interests/Sport: Scuba diving, car restoration and travelling Australia and abroad. Town/Country of origin: Scone Married/Children: Married to Sarah, no children Most annoying Co-worker and why? Anyone that needs painting done yesterday! What are you best known for? For having white eye lashes If you were fortunate enough to work for or know Colin, tell us your favourite memory. I was not that fortunate

25.01.2022 A big day at Pays today with both Alexander Pay and Ben Lewty gaining their Ag Ratings. Ben was this year's winner of the Col Pay Scholarship. The boys were trained by CFI, Harley McKillop and Flight Crew Examiner, David Bergus put them through a final test. Well done boys, we're all very proud of you both.

19.01.2022 STAFF PROFILE Name: Tilley Von Cleve-Burg Position Held: Avionics LAME... How did your interest in Aviation begin? From doing work experience in aircraft engineering when I was sixteen. How did you come to be working at Pays? I sent Ross an application to take me on as an apprentice. He offered me a 3-day wiring job which took me 7 days. He then asked me to stay on another week to build a fire suppressant system control panel. 3 weeks later Ross offered me a 3-month probation for an Avionics Apprenticeship. After 2 months they cut short my probation and put me on as full time apprentice. How many years at Pays? 6 in total - 2 casual working under John Press doing contract work as trainee/tradesperson and 4 years as apprentice. Previous position held: Trainee/Tradie/general hangar hand at Australian Aviation Specialists. If you weren't working in the Aviation Industry, what other Industry would you be in? I'd either return to writing books or Radio DJ. Favourite Food: Lamb cutlets with mash, veg and gravy! Hobbies/Interests/Sport: Horse riding, music, art and writing Town/Country of origin: Byron Bay Married/Children: No way!! Most annoying co-worker and why? "Uncle" Des as he keeps leaving fresh garden veg on my work bench to take home. It's just terrible! What are you best known for? My pink shirt, pink tool box and the amount I eat! If you were fortunate enough to work for or know Colin, tell us your favourite memory. I didn't know him personally but wish I could have. It's an honour to be a part of the continually growing legacy he has left behind.

02.01.2022 Pays farewelled Des Collison today after starting with us almost 8 years ago. Des was our "go to" man trying his hand at many tasks even playing Santa Clause. He's probably tried everything but answer the phone. We wish you all the best in your retirement Des. We will miss your smiling face.
