12.01.2022 An 2018 Industry Super Australia report estimated that 32% of all eligible Tasmanian workers weren't paid the correct super or no super at all. Employers are required to contribute at least 9.5% of an employee’s earnings before the 28th day after the end of each quarter. The Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry said that Australia had one of the most complex #workplacerelations systems of any country in the world. If an employee’s OTE exceeds the max quarterly contribution base, the employer doesn't need to pay SG on the amount exceeding the max base.
