25.01.2022 {Accessible Entrance} Over the next few weeks we will be having a new door, ramp, railing and bollards installed into the front entrance of the PBA Feeds and Hyfeed office. During the construction period we will be using the side entrance for public access. If you think you will have issues using this door, when you arrive onsite please call our office on 4633 2266 and we will bring your products and the EFTPOS machine to you.

21.01.2022 {Storing Feed} * Regardless of feed type, it is best to store feed in a cool place with low humidity. * Feed should not be exposed to direct sunlight. * Placing feed in hard storage containers or on pallets well off the ground is ideal to prevent rodent & insect infestation. * Paying strict attention to timely feed usage & safe feed storage will ensure stock get the most out of the feed.... Feed/supplements that are maintained in a cool, low-humidity, pest-free environment might last well beyond their best before date. Alternatively products that are handled less conscientiously might not make it to their best before date (eg, exposure to moisture, high temperatures, insects & rodents.) Even in best case scenarios, different types of feed vary in length of time that they can be stored. Extruded (dry feeds) will last longer compared to textured feeds that contain a high proportion of molasses & oil which have an increased moisture content. Feeds with a high moisture content are more prone to mold & spoilage if kept in sub optimal conditions

Hoss Gloss is a medicated shampoo that can be used for routine use, as well as an aid in treatment for bacterial and fungal infections of the skin. 08.01.2022 {Feedlot Macro} Containing all the macro and micro elements needed to maintain health in a feedlot situation as well as Rumensin for increased feed efficiency, Feedlot Macro is our other feedlot concentrate. As Feedlot Macro does not contain any urea, this is a suitable mix for younger cattle on feed.... Simply add 11 bag to 11 tonne of finished feed. This concentrate does not contain any buffers so a buffer such as sodium bicarb needs to be added to the ration.

She would be labeled "brain damaged" and her doctors would suggest that she be ...placed in a long-term care facility. Many children in the early 1950s with that diagnosis were institutionalized. Her mother instead took her to a neurologist, who proposed a course of speech therapy. She did not talk until she was three and a half years old. But, her parents never gave up on her. In 2010, Temple Grandin would be listed in the Time 100 list of the 100 most influential people in the world in the "Heroes" category. An activist with autism, she created the "hug box,"a device to calm children with autism. An American doctor of animal science, professor at Colorado State University, bestselling author, and consultant to the livestock industry on animal behavior, she received an award in the "Visionary" category, from the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. Today half the cattle in the United States are handled in facilities she has designed. As an animal rights activist, she has talked widely about her first-hand experiences of the anxiety of feeling threatened by everything in her surroundings, and of being dismissed and feared, which motivates her work in humane treatment of livestock, saying, Nature is cruel but we don't have to be. She co-authored "Animals Make Us Human: Creating the Best Life for Animals", which was included in the best-seller list of the New York Times. In 2010, a movie simply titled "Temple Grandin" premiered on HBO. The film, starring Claire Danes, won several awards, including five Primetime Emmy Awards, and Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild prizes for Danes. Temple Grandin continues to inspire many, sharing her message about differently-abled brains. According to her web site, the number of children diagnosed with autism continues to rise nationally, with 1 in 59 U.S. children identified with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). She said, "I had people in my life who didn't give up on me: my mother, my aunt, my science teacher. I had one-on-one speech therapy.
