24.01.2022 Work has started at the Willawong Animal Shelter. A new dog kennel run is being built so our furry friends have more room!



24.01.2022 New Farm Library - PBI has commenced the refurbishment works at New Farm Library, as mentioned in the BCC Living in Brisbane February edition.

24.01.2022 PBI Australias Painting division recently completed the refresh of the Inala Civic Hall including the Main Hall ceiling with natural timber feature, external doors repaint and signage and also the repaint and signage on the World Community plaques board leading to the breezeway.

16.01.2022 A few before and after photos of works continuing at the Bald Hills Memorial Hall. As you can see the damaged walls from the fire had to be stripped back, sealed and then painted. A very labour intensive process. Well done boys!

16.01.2022 The PBI Australia painting division has been busy working on a number of projects recently. Of note are the Annerley Bridge Club where they completed some carpark line marking and The Museum of Brisbane loading dock floor which came up a treat!

13.01.2022 PBI staff recently installed 126 in ground plant labels at the Sherwood Arboretum. Now members of the public can identify the species of each tree. Sherwood Arboretum is listed on the Queensland Heritage register.

09.01.2022 Keep an eye on Channel 7 and Channel 9 news tonight for a spot featuring Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner opening the newly refurbished Davies Park at West End. This is another successfully completed parks project, by PBI Australia. Congratulations for a job well done to our Project Manager Aidan ONeill and Site Supervisor Tim Jones as well as all the staff and contractors who contributed to this project.

08.01.2022 The recently completed new vine arbour - adjacent to the Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens Visitor Information Centre. Made from structural steel framing with stringy bark and spotted gum timber battens, including a cut out leaf detail. Looking forward to seeing it when the planting grows to cover the arbour and green up the leaves.

05.01.2022 Fantastic work was recently completed in the rainforest area of the City Botanic Gardens. Whilst this was an environmentally challenging job, the new boardwalks, paths and rotunda repairs look great. Job well done to all involved.

03.01.2022 PBI Australia were recently engaged to carry out a tricky job involving a rope access crew from Gecko Rope Access. We were tasked with the removal of graffiti to the top copper panels of a pedestrian staircase at Woolloongabba Ipswich Rd.

03.01.2022 We are proud to present our completed works at Toowong Cemetery - building a pedestrian ramp connecting Mt Coot-tha Road to the Toowong Cemetery, on behalf of BCC. The ramp includes a viewing platform that overlooks the Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens. Great Job Everyone - Looks Fantastic!

02.01.2022 Work is now underway at the Sunnybank Theatre. Brisbane City Council is improving access for the disabled, with a new lift being installed, as well as upgrades to the amenities and carpark.

01.01.2022 The PBI Australia team has recently completed a decorative refurbishment of the Red Cross Cafe in the Brisbane City Hall Designed by PBI Australias in-house Architect, Painting and Carpentry works carried out by the Construction and Painting teams. Finishes include a special suede effect to the feature walls and natural spotted gum feature panels. Opening again soon - all welcome.

01.01.2022 The outdoor cinema at McCaskie Park, Kelvin Grove was completed in January 2020. Unfortunately, this fantastic community facility has not been able to be used due to inclement weather and now the Covid-19 pandemic. When we are back to normal, we are sure BCC will organise many movie nights for everyone to enjoy.
