25.01.2022 The junior’s morning sail.....

23.01.2022 Sailing season has began, details for our Junior Program below.

23.01.2022 A nice moment for PBYC Commodore John Hunt just before taking Phillip out for an adventure on 1 of our disability sailing program trimarans yesterday morning. Phillip (pic left) was absolutely thrilled with having the opportunity to go for a sail and had a smile from ear to ear the whole time he was at the club. Well done Phillip and thanks for coming down to PBYC.

23.01.2022 Its going to be an exciting and busy day tomorrow at PBYC! Sailors from the 125 class will be joining us for a day regatta, along with Pelican sailors from surrounding clubs coming to compete together. The wind will be increasing from 10:00am onwards so it looks like the conditions will be great for a friendly, fun race day Junior training will still begin at 9:00am. See you all there

22.01.2022 Tag someone who can't gybe

21.01.2022 A great turnout yesterday for the annual platform race, well supported from Perth clubs including NYC, JBSC and SBYC, the H16s taking the handicap win, second and third placings while the F18 windrush edge took line honours for the cat class. The windfoiler and the foiling kite had a great time in the high winds with amazing speed shown up and down the Harvey estuary. A few notible mentions to some of the cat sailors who had some spectacular capsizes one in particular ditched it outside the club on Commodores sandbank racing back out to the start line after a hasty return to fix some issues. Moth sailors unfortunately were unable to complete the race possibly due to the high winds and rough conditions. This afternoon we are hosting the F18s and moths for some windward leeward racing so that should be great to watch.

18.01.2022 A reminder that the new closed season for blue swimmer crabs in Perth and the South West continues until 30 November, re-opening to crab fishing on 1 December. ...The closed area includes the Swan and Canning rivers and the Peel-Harvey Estuary. This means that the Peel-Harvey Estuary, which was previously only closed to crabbing during September and October, now remains closed throughout November. 17.01.2022 JBSC Topper Cup and Christmas Party this Sunday ! We have a Discover sailing session in conjunction with the Rec Camp in the morning and would love some extra v...ollies for that - set up from 8.30am Then we have the JBSC Topper Cup briefing at 11am. Forecast is for some good winds and we would love as many of our sailors of all skill levels to get involved. We have 14 Toppers available and would love to see the whole fleet racing. Last time the Topper Cup was awarded Ash Rowley (who was only sailing a big Cat at the time) stole it off James Clarke on a count back, and it had something to do with some missing bungs. . . But there was a lot of banter and a LOT of laughs, so get involved and have some fun sailing our little plastic fantastics :D Depending on weather we will then run some practice' races for those heading off to Nationals, the bar will be open, and we will have a Christmas Party with a baked ham and salads put on at the clubhouse. So come down, get involved in the Discover Sailing, the Topper Cup, have a few drinks, a few laughs, a Christmas feed and catch up with other members for the end of the year :D Don't forget your Santa hat and tinsel !

Stay safe and in good health everyone. Please feel free to reach out if you need help in anyway.
