21.01.2022 Happy Diwali, festival of lights, to all our Indian brothers and sisters. Lets lit the lantern of love, peace and positivity on this auspicious occasion of Diwali; Lets burn the demons of negativity and purify the world around us on this Diwali;... Western Australians who are aware of someone breaching a requirement to self-isolate - please con-tact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or WA Police on 131 444. ---- We are taking every precaution to protect Western Australia from COVID-19. The Western Australian health system and our hospitals are very well prepared to manage infectious disease situations and have well established systems and processes in place. The State Government is taking this very seriously and we need to remain prepared for a pandemic. Every action we take and decision we make is to protect Western Australians. It is important that we all continue to remain calm and use common sense. The best thing we can do to protect ourselves is quality personal hygiene and exercise physical distancing by avoiding unnecessary personal contact. That includes covering coughs and sneezes, washing hands often with soap or sanitiser, staying home from work or school if unwell, avoiding shaking hands or hugging, and maintaining distance from others in public. Please also continue to follow the advice of authorities and doctors - anyone who is instructed to self-isolate must take the order seriously, stay home and not put others at risk. This means you dont leave your property, you dont go to work or school, you dont go on outings and you dont have visitors - only leave the house to seek medical attention. ---- Phase two of WAs easing of restrictions is now in effect. 14.01.2022 Eid Mubarak! Our warmest wishes to everyone celebrating #EidAlAdha. May the values of solidarity and compassion of this festive be an inspiration for all of us. Eid al-Adha 2020 began in the evening of Thursday, 30 July and ends in the evening of Monday, 3 August.... It honors the willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son Ismael as an act of obedience to Gods command. But, before Ibrahim could sacrifice his son, God provided a lamb to sacrifice instead. The purpose of Sacrifice in Eid al-Adha is not about shedding of blood just to satisfy Allah. It is about sacrificing something devotees love the most to show their devotion to Allah. It is also obligatory to share the meat of the sacrificed animal in three equivalent parts for family, for relatives and friends, and for poor people. The celebration has a clear message of devotion, kindness and equality. It is said that the meat will not reach to Allah, nor will the blood, but what reaches him is the devotion of devotees.(Wikipedia)
