21.01.2022 We understand that at this time of social distancing and self-isolation that emotional and mental wellbeing is important, especially to women concerned about a pregnancy or experiencing grief after pregnancy loss. 19.01.2022 This week we are proud to have been able to supply 10,000 BabyLove nappies for babies and children living in locked-down towers in North Melbourne and Flemingto...n via The Venny Inc and AMSSA Youth Connect. We have provided a variety of sizes, including infant, newborn, toddler and beyond. Thank you to our amazing nappy community who sprung into action supporting us. Thanks for sharing our message, for donating, assisting with logistics and coordinating work behind the scenes. Without this support, we would not have been able to move swiftly at this critical time. We are so grateful to play a small part in bringing some relief to these families. #nappies #thankyou #community
18.01.2022 Simple fact, pregnant women are hot! A woman's core temperature runs hotter in pregnancy, so in Summer it's important to keep hydrated and as cool as possible. We're enjoying a break from the heat today, but no doubt temperatures will soar again soon. Keep your water bottle handy and a refill jug in the fridge, try cold compressess & cool showers, use air-con and fans, wear lightweight clothing, and if possible avoid activity during the heat of the day.
14.01.2022 2019 AGM! Welcome to our new members and our thanks to those who continue in their roles on our Management Committee.
13.01.2022 Isolation can be especially tough for pregnant women and new mothers, both physically and mentally. During difficult times such as these, please reach out to family members and friends who are pregnant or new parents; check to see if they are okay and let them know that you're thinking about them. Let them know that they aren't alone.
