19.01.2022 PC Walls are pleased to show off the recently completed noise walls at #Brightwood for Parcel Properties and the #highvoltage substations for Western Power and Tracc Civil at Arkana Road, #Westminster and George Street, #Byford. The wet weather in July and August made completion of the painting and anti-graffiti coatings difficult. Our own crew and #Kleenit crew worked whenever there was suitable conditions to get the work completed. We are sure all the local residents are ha...ppy to have the works completed and noise levels reduced. Wall details are: Brightwood PC Walls patterned wall panels and piers on precast footings, Castlestone pattern both sides. Westminster precast concrete panels, steel posts on piled footings and plain painted finish. 16.01.2022 On behalf of PC Walls I am taking part in the Vinnies CEO sleepout to raise funds to assist those less fortunate than most of us. Homelessness is a major issue in Australia, you can see on the attached fact sheet the extent of it. St Vincent de Paul are a charity I have supported for many years and find them one of the cost efficient organisations in this field, most of the funds donated are used to help people in desperate need. I have set a target of raising $5000 for this charity, I will be sleeping "rough"next Thursday night 18th and hope people will sponsor me. 16.01.2022 It took a lot of planning and skill for PC Walls and General Crane Services to successfully install the steel posts and first 2 wall panels yesterday. Due to the close proximity of high voltage power lines the works had to undertaken under an organised power shut off for the HV line. Well done to all involved, thanks to Cambell Miles of Tracc Civil for having the required traffic control in place. We plan to install the remainder of the wall panels next week.

13.01.2022 PC Walls work crew successfully installed the remaining wall panels at the Western Power #highvoltage substation at Arkana, #Mirrabooka this week. It took a combined team effort by our crew assisted by General Crane Services (WA) Pty Ltd and Anthony of A&M Earthmoving to get the remaining panels installed. The close proximity of live HV power lines and stay poles required forward planning, strict control of the clearance distances, and compliance by all involved with the #saf...ety method plan. The remaining work to complete remedials of panel lifting points, painting and anti-graffiti coating application will be done in the next few weeks, weather permitting. This project for Tracc Civil Pty Ltd and Western Power to install the noise wall will reduce the noise levels from the substation to an allowable level and make life more enjoyable for the adjacent residents. #civilengineering #noisewall #perthbusiness

10.01.2022 PC Walls celebrated 10 years in business last Friday night with an event to thank our employees, suppliers and subcontractors, these are the key people who help us achieve our business goals each year. Our own team #Hannah, #Keith, #Davy, #Steve, #Nic and #Vee were there, unfortunately #Markus had a family event so could not make it. Traffic control supplied by our head contractor, Tracc Civil. A lot of planning and control needed to ensure clearances maintained to high voltage lines. This wall is constructed using steel posts supplied by Lighthouse Engineering Pty Ltd and hebel panels supplied by CSR Building Products Limited. 04.01.2022 PC Walls have created new pattern ideas for our display area in Landsdale. These reflect our aim to create new patterns to reflect clients desire for a wall pattern that will make their development stand out. The colours used can be changed to reflect the colour scheme in the overall development. As per our present wall system we can design the walls to accommodate retaining and noise wall combination. The patterns are: Karri plank this is a combination of timber off-form... and stucco finish, the combination of each pattern will be as per the design drawing. This pattern will be fabricated by our formwork partners, #Verti-crete, to be used in our present battery formwork system. The Karri plank pattern will be on one side of the wall and the reverse side will be stucco on all the panel. The formwork for this pattern will need a lead time of four months from order to get the forms made and delivered from #Verti-crete in USA. Tuart lines this pattern can be set up using our existing formwork system. The reverse side of the panel can be a pattern from our existing #Verti-crete pattern range (Ledge Stone, Dryfit or Castle Stone). This pattern is available for use now.
