25.01.2022 We are 25 hours into our trip and so far everything is going well. Only one air mattress plug left behind so we'll be checking out Mitre 10 after our swim at the Mitchell Artesian Hot Spa. I'll try to post each day so you can track out trip as most of our YMT phones don't have phone service.

24.01.2022 When I first started school, even kindergarten, I was bullied all through school until high school. My dad was like abusive towards me for twelve years straigh...t when my mum left, I was scared to tell anyone. Jesse Jesse was referred to PCYC Queensland after becoming disengaged at school, working with a Branch Manager and Youth Support worker Jesse worked to change his story. See Jesses story in his own words. At PCYC Queensland we recognise that our work in supporting communities and the issues that many young people face is far from done. Help change the story of a young Queenslander like Jesse by donating today - http://donate.pcyc.org.au #Donate #OurStories #seemystory

16.01.2022 If 2019 is to be your year, what will YOU DO to make it so? Have you written your goals down? Have you tried something NEW? ... Have you just turned up or have you actually TURNED IT UP??? Or are you still doing the same thing you always do? Remaining the same, making excuses as to why your aren’t getting the results you hope for? If you want to see change - BE THAT CHANGE!! FEEL THAT CHANGE... Ask yourself - Am I a CONtender or a PREtender?? You MUST fail in order to succeed!! Get comfortable with failure, with idea that it is quite ok to be NOT OK. Do this today, yes TODAY..., like right NOWWW! If your comfort zone is a in second gear, do something, ANYTHING that takes you to that 7 or 8 or even beyond?!?! Take yourself to where you know you truly want to be - happy and healthy, strong and sexy, AND PUSH PAST IT! Get out of the past and away from the excuses and get into the now to prepare you for a better future....

16.01.2022 We enjoyed Charleville and will all be buying a Chocolate Bilby at Easter each year from now on. We visited the Observatory and learnt about the stars. It was a long drive but we saw a few more Emu's bring the count to 30. Tight squeeze at the Camp site but we had a good card playing table which is an important part of the selection process now.

16.01.2022 Rotary Ramble is a walking treasure hunt and a fantastic day out on the Gold Coast. Come on and enjoy the pleasures in life. Don't forget to tick that you are supporting PCYC Gold Coast when you register. If you are a member of the Youth Leadership Team - join Team Bunji.

14.01.2022 It was a shorter drive today. We checked in at the PCYC and are ready to volunteer tomorrow. We hit the camp ground pool next followed by some sight seeing and some cards. The girls found a chocolate bar had melted in the car but they were determined not to let it go to waste.

14.01.2022 We made it. 9 glorious days on the road to Mt Isa and back with 7 future leaders. We look forward to your on going development with the Youth Leadership Team.

14.01.2022 The Youth Leadership Team did a fantastic job planting and cleaning up the gardens at Bornhoffen PCYC Leadership Development Camp over the weekend. Great photos guys, looks like you had a lot of fun.

14.01.2022 Gold Coast Team pulled together at the boxing tournament to help Maranoa PCYC pull together a great night of fun and fundraising.

13.01.2022 We are on the road at last. Due to a hiccup with the bus, we are now in two 4WD Hilux Utes with one towing the trailer. Emu count from the trip put us to 24. After almost 8 hours driving we enjoyed the camp kitchen with lots of card games. Off to Charleville tomorrow!

13.01.2022 Kaitlin and Ryan Barwick have thrown out the Easter Challenge to all the PCYC Gold Coast Youth Leadership Team and Duke of Edinburgh Award participants to build the best indoor camping set up. Email me your photos on [email protected] or post your photos here for a bit of fun.

09.01.2022 Today we passed through Barcaldine and Longreach. We were very excited to see an Emu right next to the road taking our Emu count to 9. Our camp ground has an Alpaca that loved the uncooked spaghetti it was being fed, a swimming pool and a pretty cool dinosaur.
