Safer Communities presents 3 days of outdoor challenges at PCYC Capricorn Coast during the September school holidays & there's a few spots remaining! Challenges include; kayaking, rock wall climbing, raft building, high ropes and a final excursion snorkelling at GKI. ... The challenge will run 9.00am-4.00pm, Monday 28th- Wednesday 30th September 2020 (no overnight stays). A commitment to attend the full 3 days is required. No cost involved. 15.01.2022 Sylvia grew up in a small indigenous community and was exposed first hand to the impact that drugs and alcohol can have. I looked at how alcohol has affected my family I said I don’t want to do that. I don’t want to be like that. An alcoholic or a smoker. Sylvia desperately wanted to create a life for herself that did not involve substance abuse.... Sylvia found PCYC Queensland through a free fitness program for women, and became keen to encourage others to take part has worked to be a positive role model for young women in the community.
