23.01.2022 Congratulations to our Indigenous Community Sport & Recreation Officer at PCYC Upper Ross, Arika Appleby, who has been selected as a participant in the 2020 Queensland Indigenous Youth Leadership Program (QIYLP) to be held in Brisbane from 12 to 17 December 2020. QIYLP is the flagship component of the Queensland Indigenous Youth Leadership Strategy, providing an exciting opportunity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders aged 1825 in Queensland to come together to strengthen their leadership skills and build their capacity to drive change in local communities. A proud Gudjala woman from Townsville, Arika said It is a huge honour to be selected to attend the QIYLP. I look forward to meeting a diverse range of attendees and collaborating on ideas to better our local communities!
