16.01.2022 Gong hei fat choy! Tonight we start celebrating Chinese New Year festivities, which are held over a three week (or so) period. You can see our Lions at the Melbourne Hotel tonight and the whole troupe will be performing next weekend at Buss Park and the Moncrieff Theatre. Our troupe are all volunteers and school-aged youth. The older performers are working through their Duke of Edinburgh Awards. 13.01.2022 The Chinese New Year Festival in Bundaberg is no more! It has been replaced by Luna New Year Festival. For 2021, it will be Saturday the 13th of February. The Bundaberg PCYC Blazers Chinese Dragon and Lion Dance Team have two performances in the Moncrieff. both performances will be on stage.

11.01.2022 Palm Lake Care Bargara is regularly treated to cultural displays. Here, visiting dancers showed off a traditional dragon and lion dance for Chinese New Year. It was an amazing sight!
