15.01.2022 It's hard to express how much we appreciate and admire the first responders in New South Wales who bravely run towards danger to rescue us and keep us safe. It's a lot! No other year has been quite like 2020 in terms of how much we have been tested as a country. Fire, floods and pandemics - 2020 has served it all up! These challenges have highlighted how much we need our first responders to be there to protect, defend and care for our communities. We appreciate all #FirstResp...onders, but we would especially like to thank our close friends, the members of NSW Police Force, and acknowledge that we really are #BetterTogether. #TAFRD #firstresponderday #thankafirstresponder #grateful Fortem Australia

09.01.2022 Instead of reducing our group size due to Covid 19 restrictions, we decided to split our group and take in MORE cadets! Tonight the 2020 Bravo Group cadets experienced the Wagga Wagga Rescue Squad - NSW Volunteer Rescue Association Inc. After their PT session, they met VRA volunteers Jodie, Helen, Tom and Greg and learned how the VRA Wagga Wagga was formed, who they help the scenarios they assist with and the equipment they use. They then participated in some interactive ac...tivities with radios as well as a stretcher/ropes. This highlighted the importance of Communication and Trust. Well done to all the cadets for their active participation and great questions tonight. #empoweringyoungpeople #pcyccadets #pcycwagga
