25.01.2022 Attention Hervey Bay PCYC Facility Users All facility users MUST sign in using our QR Code register. These are available at reception and all other access points to our Club. You will be required to show the team member at reception your tick of approval (as seen in the below picture) on completion and don’t forget to check out upon leaving. There is no longer a paper sign in option. This is done by hovering your IPhone camera over the QR code or using the QR code app if... you have an Android. If you do not have a phone with the capabilities, you will be required to have our team member at reception complete this for you. Who needs to sign in: 1. Gym/Group Fitness participant 2. Sports/Program participant 3. Visitor Facility users who refuse sign in will be asked to leave the premise. We appreciate your cooperation.

Cadets were put through their paces at our fantastic new gym facility at Hervey Bay PCYC The cadets are encouraged to maintain physical and mental fitness through exercise, whilst working towards sustainable goal planning to enter emergency services fields in their community, in the coming years Special congratulations to B’Jae and Harrison who were awarded Senior Cadet epaulettes, to recognise their ongoing dedication to the cadet program over the past several years. Throughout 2020 Eileen has been coordinating and ensuring the safety of our facility users in our Pickleball and Badminton programs. Today I had the chance to sit down with Eileen and ask her a few quick questions. Here we go: ... If you could have someone/anyone over for dinner, who would it be? I would love to pick the brains of Albert Einstein whilst treating him to a nice meal. What does a perfect day look like? Waking up and knowing I’m alive and knowing my family and friends are all well. Perfect holiday? Rarotonga - Cook Islands, feet up watching the sunset over the lagoon. What do you love about Hervey Bay? What’s not to love. Why do you volunteer at PCYC? I love all sports and I want to see the programs/sports grow. I enjoy giving back to my community and the camaraderie at PCYC is special. Thank you for your ongoing support of PCYC Hervey Bay, Eileen.
