25.01.2022 As a preventive measure Judo classes have been cancelled for the remainder of this term due to Coronavirus (COVID-19). We will see how things are over the Easter Holidays and will inform you when classes will start again. Everyone stay safe and healthy and we'll see you on the flip side

25.01.2022 Hi everyone, Finally we are back on the mats starting Tuesday 6/10/20 6:00 pm. Looking forward to seeing you there. Just remember because of COVID-19 we need to follow some requirements:- clean Gi’s, clean hands, clean feet so foot ware is required and your own drink bottles.

17.01.2022 I'm sorry to say but at this point Judo lessons are still cancelled until further notice. We are keeping up with notices from the Government and will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so. However, things are getting done behind the scenes and we have some plans developing. So everyone stay safe, and watch this space!

11.01.2022 A masive day on the mats! So many great fights today. Such an effort put in by all the kids. 20 new belts given out, including one to Kane. The big awards for ...2019 went to Angelina "Most Improved", Mia took out "Best Girl", while Felix got awarded "Best Boy". And the big one for the year to Ethan for "Most Outstanding". A big thank you to Ray, Kane, Craig, Dot, Cathy and Shawn for all their help training on the mat. Thank you to Cathy and Leanne for all the behind the scene jobs to make our big days run smoothly. And last but not least thank you to Kevin for donating the beautiful shields. Enjoy the holiday break and see you all back safe and sound for 2020! See more

We’ve been putting together some training sessions on the Cairns City Judo Training page in the hope that as many judoka’s as possible take part in them. 03.01.2022 Congratulations to our Sensei, Ray, who was promoted to the rank of ni-dan (2nd dan) on Saturday. Ray was awarded his promotion after performing his nage-no-kata and katame-no-kata at the recent AJU annual championships. Here is Ray being presented with his grading certificate by AJU Senior Member, Shihan Denis Byrne.
