20.01.2022 The start of the new year is almost upon us! Remember to enrol your child in PCYC Queensland's Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) before school resumes. OSHC services are available from Prep throughout Primary school, providing families with regular access to care. Our three children have all attended PCYC OSHC for before and after school care, and even during vacations. Our kids love it. It's a great opportunity for them to spend more time with their classmates in a safe en...vironment, and there are so many different activities for them to do and the carers are all dedicated and look after the kids so well. PCYC OSHC is so important for us as it allows my husband and I to work, knowing that our kids are being well cared for, and more importantly, that they're having fun. - Ms Juliet Grigg Enrol now: https://bit.ly/pcycoshc

18.01.2022 Support vulnerable and at-risk young Queenslanders this year. Vulnerable and at-risk young Queenslanders will struggle and face far greater adversity this new year. In 2021 we need your support to continue providing mentoring, essential programs, and a safe environment to more than 50,000 young people. Bullied all through school Angel eventually gave up and dropped out of school. Disengaged, suffering from low self-esteem and mental health issues, Angel’s future was extremely... uncertain. PCYC Queensland continues to support Angel and her dream, and she has recently completed work experience for her certificate in one of PCYC Queensland’s 100+ Outside School Hours Care services. Your donation will help change her story, donate now and change the story of a young Queenslander in 2021. https://donate.pcyc.org.au/ #PCYCQLD #Charity #Donate #OurStories

09.01.2022 Last night Redlands PCYC Branch Manager Sgt Graham Pearse presented PCYC bursary’s at Vienna Woods and Birkdale State Schools graduation awards evenings. Sgt Pearse is pictured presenting the All Round High Achiever award and Academic Excellence awards at Birkdale. Sgt Pearse said that PCYC provides the cash bursary’s as part of our commitment to local schools that we partner with in outside school hours care and youth programs. It was great to see so many talented young people being recognised for their hard work. Many thanks to Principals Jackie Fiedler and Greg Gosling and their teams for producing such high achieving young people who are now ready to take on the rigours of High school. Good luck to them all.
