24.01.2022 Unfortunately racing for tonight Tuesday 14/07/2020 has been cancelled due to rain. We hope everyone stays safe and look forward to better weather next Tuesday night!

23.01.2022 On behalf of all PDNR members and racers we are sending out a massive thank you to Bunnings Warehouse Australia (Penrith & North Penrith stores). Your generous donation of a fantastic new backpack blower and air compressor are much needed replacements for the ones that were unfortunately stolen recently. We really appreciate your support! Bunnings Penrith:... bunnings.com.au/stores/nsw-south/penrith Bunnings North Penrith: bunnings.com.au/stores/nsw-south/north-penrith

23.01.2022 Check out our new timing bridge! Massive thanks to Michael Turner for turning this around in only 1 week! Special mention for the new and improved V2.0 aluminum sub-frame. It will guarantee that we get another 10+ years out of this one! And stay tuned for some fun add-ons that might be coming soon!

22.01.2022 Wow! What another awesome night tonight! Thanks again to everyone for their support and a warm welcome to the new racers that joined us tonight! We ended up with another new record with 53 entries! It looks like starting earlier is working as we continue to attract great numbers and have racing finished before 10:00pm. Please keep trying to arrive a little earlier so we can get registration completed by 6:45pm and racing underway by 7:15pm! Special thanks also goes to Michael Turner who has been working hard behind the scenes to build us some new light towers! The prototype was tested a few weeks ago, and tonight we launched two new towers with 8 light panels in total! It was like racing in the daytime!

22.01.2022 Kids Race Free! Special Offer - Calling all kids! We are excited to announce that from August 2020 all kids (16 years or younger) will race for FREE!... So if you have an RC car and want somewhere to race it, come along to PDNR on a Tuesday night! PDNR have always had a strong focus on being family friendly, along with encouraging and developing more kids to get involved in RC racing, and thanks to the kind support of the Sydney International Regatta Centre we are excited to announce that Kids Race Free! We are always looking for new and exciting ways to encourage and develop our junior racers some of whom are now matching it on the State and National stage. And with many people taking the opportunity to reflect during the recent COVID-19 restrictions we have seen a spark in interest for RC racing as people look for enjoyable and rewarding activities that dont involve digital screens! We are hoping to attract more juniors to our events on Tuesday nights as this will bring opportunities for more dedicated kids classes and maybe even a new control or spec class that is tailored to new juniors.

22.01.2022 Racing for Tuesday 16/02/2021 has been cancelled! Despite everyone crossing everything in the hope we can get through tonight, we just got a heavy shower and there is more on the way...

22.01.2022 Its great to be back! And what a nice touch by SIRC to put this up on the big screen as everyone drives in!

21.01.2022 Please note: PDNRs COVID-19 Procedures have been updated following the advice and recommendations from the Chief Health Officer in relation to community sport and recreation. MINIMISING COMMUNITY TRANSMISSION The NSW Chief Health Officer released updated advice on 14/08/2020 for community sport and recreation regarding minimising risk of COVID-19 transmission in community sports. The principle is to restrict activities to avoid inter-mingling and potential community transmi...ssion through mixing of participants from different regions. As PDNRs Tuesday night activities do not bring together participants (spectators or officials) from organisations in different regions of Sydney, or from a rural area into a metro area we are not required to cease our activities, however if members or participants live outside the Greater Sydney area please consider whether it is necessary to participate in PDNR activities at this time. pdnr.org.au/covid-19

20.01.2022 Here is a crazy wild idea for a new RC class! Imagine this... 1/10 forklift bodies to suit the Short Course Truck chassis - BUT you need to race them in reverse so they have rear wheel steer! We think it would be EPIC!... What do you think? Should we suggest the idea to Pro-Line Racing and run a proof-of-concept race at PDNR?

20.01.2022 Blue sky and sunshine as track setup begins! Look forward to seeing everyone tonight for another fun night of RC racing at PDNR!

19.01.2022 With racing set to resume tomorrow night, show us what you have been up to during the isolation break! To kick things off, check out what Ric Sey has been up to! He has modified an old electrical reel for our new monitor link, and made some super cool (and totally custom) PDNR RJ45 protector caps!!!

19.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE (8th July 2020): Racing to resume from Tuesday 14th July! COVID-19 UPDATE (2nd July 2020): We appreciate you would be super keen to resume RC racing at PDNR, and although from July 1 2020 the restrictions have been eased, there are still a number of new procedures and processes that we are required to adopt, and we are still bound by Public Health Orders and guidance from the Sydney International Regatta Centre.... SIRC are currently reviewing the updated Public Health Order and will then provide PDNR with their latest Return to Play Protocol with updated policies. The Protocol will outline new procedures at SIRC, health guidelines and requirements. At the same time we are finalising our COVID-19 Safety Plan and COVID-19 Procedures, both of which will be submitted to SIRC prior to us being able to return. So the short story is that we are close, but we still have a few more chicanes to navigate before we can all get back to the track! Stay tuned for further updates!

19.01.2022 So... who is still buzzing from all the great racing action and fun tonight? Thanks to everyone for another great night! We had an awesome 52 entries... and 10 of them were juniors - who all raced for no charge thanks to our Kids Race Free promo! We had a new record of 15 entries in Tamiya Truck, and we equaled our Short Course Truck record with 17!... Our $7 BYO class had a mixture of SCT, 1/10 EP Pan, 1/10 Nitro Tourer and even a 1/10 Drifter! And what better way to finish the night then a quick game of racetrack cricket! PS. Don’t ask teenagers to take group photos for you... they can’t resist the selfie LOL!

15.01.2022 It was an extra special drivers meeting tonight as we presented Austin, our youngest racer, with his very own PDNR shirt! Needless to say he was pretty excited!

13.01.2022 Congratulations to all our podium finishers from the 2020 Summer Championship! The Summer Championship started in January but like many things was interrupted by COVID-19. 12.01.2022 What an awesome night tonight with another record attendance! Thanks again to everyone for their continued help and support and we look forward to doing it all again next week!

11.01.2022 Check out this cool onboard footage from our Tamiya Truck class! This class is getting more and more popular every week and we are excited to confirm that Tamiya Truck will be added into the 2020 Spring Championship - which kicks off next Tuesday night 22nd September. We are also excited to announce SPEEDY RC (SpeedyRC Online Store) as the official division sponsor for Tamiya Truck! Thanks for your support!

10.01.2022 It was a wild start to Short Course Truck (Group 2) with Chris and Tony making contact over the jump! It was fantastic to have 13 Short Course Trucks tonight (our biggest class of the night).

10.01.2022 Unfortunately the rain ended up falling and we didn’t get through the night. Thanks to everyone who assisted with pack up... it was all away in record time due to so many people helping!

10.01.2022 Calling for extra help tonight to set up secondary driver stand! To help increase the number of drivers we can accommodate in each heat, we are setting up our secondary Dexion drivers stand (which you can see in the picture from the 2019 2.4 Hour Le Mans). This will increase our capacity to 9 drivers per heat while still maintaining physical distancing measures. And it will also help us finish earlier overall!... The downside is that setting up this stand is heavy and awkward, so if you are able to arrive earlier to help with any part of track and equipment set up that would be greatly appreciated!

08.01.2022 Attention Racers! We trust you are looking forward to some RC racing tonight. We just received notice that the drive-through COVID-19 clinic that has recently been set up at SIRC is extending its hours until 5:00pm tonight.... So please make sure you enter via GATE A (Main Entry) - which is the gate we always use...

07.01.2022 Help Requested! Its a glorious afternoon so we are keen to set up the track and equipment extra early today. Rick is aiming to be at SIRC from 4:00pm, so if anyone is available to help with track and equipment set up he would greatly appreciate the help! Remember, the earlier we get set up, the more open practice time you all get!... And dont forget about our new "Kids Race Free" promotion - any kids are welcome to use the track for practice as soon as its ready!

07.01.2022 Championship Update: Championship Points and Race Results as of Spring Round 9 (17/11/2020) are available on the PDNR website: pdnr.org.au/latestresults/ Unfortunately the rain came and racing had to be abandoned just before we finished round 1, so as per our competition rules and racing guidelines none of the race results will be counted, and instead all entrants have been allocated 10 pts for each race.... In terms of entry fees, Nitro Tourer entrants will have their entry carried forward to next week as they did not complete a race. Next event: Round 10 - Tuesday 24 November Reminder to all attendees - as soon as you arrive, please ensure you register your attendance by scanning the QR code. This applies to both racers and non-racers. We encourage everyone to arrive a little earlier as we transition to an earlier start time. 01.01.2022 We had 9 Tamiya Trucks racing tonight! And there was no shortage of action in both races! One of the highlights would have to be the last to first drive by Cameron in Race 1, and the biggest hit was easily the head on collision between Darrell and Mitchell!
