24.01.2022 Good morning everyone, just a quick reminder of upcoming events. Sunday the 29th of November is the Queensland silat tournament starting at 9am sign on by 8:30am. Sunday the 6th of December is Perisai diri parkridge breakup party starting at 10am till 2pm. There will be food and drinks supplied ... Jumping castle for the kids and of course the bigger kids. Bring your swimmers to cool off in the pool. Mark it in your books its going to be a great day. See more

22.01.2022 I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all the new members that have join as over the last month. With so many members sometimes we might have missed passing on some information. So i would like to talk about a couple of things. 1. Parking, with the 2 classes on a Monday and Thursday night it can get very busy with cars and parking spots. So i ask if there is no spots in the first row, please drive though the flaged area and park behind the first row of cars on the... grass. Please no parking on the driveway as it can block others in. 2. There is to be no food or drink on the red and blue training mats, that is inside and the mats outside 3. Rubbish from lollies is to be placed in bins, please make sure we are not finding wrapers around the training centre. 4. There is to be no picking up any of the weapons without asking a instructor first. Thank you for your support and help From all the parkridge crew

Full contact sparring and in 2 weeks time we have the Queensland silat tournament where I will be coaching the next generation and hopefully with training future world competitions. 06.01.2022 With the weather starting to warm up the mosquitoes are out and about. Can all members please DO NOT WEAR ANY INSECT REPELLANT - one of our members is anaphylaxis allergic. We have some allergy sensitive safe insect repellent here at training and some balm to relieve insect bites if needed. Any questions please ask. Thank you.

04.01.2022 Good afternoon everyone. We have been monitoring the latest with the covid-19 in our area and the new restrictions the Premier has put in place. We are still able to stay open and keep training as we are under and follow a industry covid safety plan. So training will continue as normal, but please if you are feeling unwell or have flu like symptoms please stay at home. Remember to wash your hands on the way in and sanitise them and we will be checking everyones temperature. Thank you for your help in this matter.

02.01.2022 Senior Grading held at Parkridge yesterday from members all over the southeast Queensland area. Well done to everyone that came along and tried there best and put in 100% on a very hot day.
