24.01.2022 Last weekend I went to a macrame workshop run by a couple of local artists. Ive always been self taught at everything I make, this was the first art class I’ve been to since I graduated high school. I really enjoyed trying something new. While I absolutely adore the finished product (a plant holder) I’m not going to lie, I think I should have started with a much smaller project on my first attempt. After the first couple of hours my brain kept wandering off and I found it a... bit hard to concentrate in the final stages. STORY OF MY LIFE!! No doubt I’ll be spending any spare time I have over the next couple of weeks watching YouTube tutorials until I’ve completely got the hang of macrame, then I’ll move onto the next hobby

16.01.2022 *NOT FOR SALE* A loooong time ago I set myself the challenge of replicating the Aboriginal flag onto a t-shirt. It was a success. So I gave it to my old mate Kevin.... and he frickin loves it!! When I asked Kevin if I could take a photo of him in it he replied as long as you put it on your Facebook and tell all the ladies I’m single.... So that’s exactly what I’m doing. LADIES MEET KEVIN, HE’S SINGLE!! Kevin has since told me his family members would love it if I made more shirts to sell to them but unfortunately the answer is no. Even before it became illegal for me to do so due to copywrite laws, I don’t feel right selling this design. I won’t profit from indigenous culture when it is not mine to make a profit from. I was happy to make this gift for my friend but it is a one off

01.01.2022 WOAH! What a day!! My Facebook notifications and messages have been going off like crazy and for that I want to thank each and every one of you who are responsible for it! ... You’re all amazing!! I completely underestimated the amount of custom orders I’d receive before the close of business in mid December. If you are contemplating placing an order, I highly recommend you do so pronto before I’m fully booked out, limited spaces left ** WATCH THIS SPACE ** I usually only open my shop by appointment as I already have my hands full juggling my full time job and parenting my wild little hippy child, I find it a bit difficult to have set trading hours. However, I’m thinking I may have to open up one day a weekend to fit y’all in. Thanks again to everyone for your overwhelming support, ya bloody legends!
